HI Kevin,

I bit hard to answer without flow data, but for catch can hoses, it is likely a moot point as the hoses of the same diameter of OEM will likely be of little effect as the distance is relative small increase compared to say front to back of the vehicle, for example... All is contained in the engine compartment. I am not reentering the catch can debate... Contentious as other topics like what oil you use or should use.

My opinion on catch cans is located elsewhere but I retreat into my flame proof bunker...

Best,
Phil
Thanks!

Necro'ing this thread like a noob.

@Sariandan
You still have the OEM hose laying around? If so is there a part number on it?

Part sites are giving me wonky listings.

If my ex hasn't thrown it out, it should be in a box in her garage. I'm passing by there tomorrow; I can check. It likely won't be until the evening before I can get back to you here, though.

No rush. I was just gonna "splice" into the oem line whenever I decide to buy a catch can rather than getting fancy with routing custom lines.

Rather have a back up hose to swap in/out for dealer maintenance.

If they are still there, I can send them to you if you'd like. Unfortunately, since my truck was totaled, I won't be returning to stock.

I was going nuts looking for the other hose, before realizing there is only one originally. I believe this is it. If so, there are two sets of numbers on the label.

And then, this is the entire hose. This is the correct hose, right?

PM me if you would just like me to send you the hose. I don’t need it anymore.

You intentionally positioned that hose in that way for the pics didn't you... I see what you did there.
I have found connectors that seem to snap into place,

but I may need a backup hose in case I further damage mine*those plastic lock tabs break easily..)

This one is free if you want it. I’m about to toss it, though, so let me know. I have to clean my stuff out of her garage.

The 21 model years have changed slightly. Trust me I did the same thing. I swapped my catch can from my 19 ranger to my 21 and I couldn’t find the port either and I work for Ford for over 20 years! Lol
They changed the source vacuum to the top of the manifold instead of like the 19/20 model years which was closer to the PCV hose and wrapped around right next to it with the yellow fitting. My guess is to maybe not suck in so much oil since it’s climbing upward? Who knows. But to the OP, that picture you posted with the port and hose unplugged is the location where the kit gets connected to now.
I have the JLT 3.0 kit and I emailed JLT too and told them of the new updated install location.

This all begs the question for the mid 21 plus, to not just run the can in the back. You don't have to have 6 foot of aftermarket hose. you could almost direct fit it.
