It says 5 amps, but mine draws 7amps. I use my old school 12v charger to power it.
Yea, now I’ve got to go back through this thread and figure out what pump I think I want, etc., review the process some of our fellow members are following… man, I’d better take notes.

Either you guys are a bunch of con artists, or there is something to this Fitzstick/Lubeguard Platinum thing. I went with the latter. Got both and am eager to get the dipstick installed, and the level checked before deciding on whether to just drain and replace with new fluid + Lubeguard, or go the full route and get the filter/fluid replaced. FYI 2020 with FP tune and no trans issues. No towing but driven sportingly and in tow and sport mode regularly. I really like the functionality of the trans. Lots of different ways to use it. Just hope it holds up. If not, I have an extended warranty just to be safe.

The dipstick and the distance to the bottom of the pan you will need about 30”, so depending upon how far away the pump is you would need at least 48” I would think, but that’s only 18” to work with in the engine compartment.
Question for you all, what do you guys recommend for a brand of hose , the ones that came with the pump compressed some much due to the fact that the tranny fluid was hot , that they popped off and sprayed all over the place.
Also what is the max size hose to go down the Fitzstick?

how do you keep it found compressing? wait until the fluid is cooled down?
Yes....cooled down or cold. No need to pump out when hot.
A cold quart is the same amount as a hot quart....no need to worry about hot fluid squirting all over.
I always do mine when cold.
Not like draining oil....your pumping out and replacing with the same amount.
