Thanks Phil.

I really wish they had done a better job on the Ranger under-seat storage.
Doesn't the US version have under seat storage in the back?

Yes, there is some storage under the seat but it is limited and poorly designed in my estimation.

I really wish they had of done a better job on the Ranger, period.
*Invisible climate control switches, poorly placed, poorly lit.
*No provisions for adding supports for hauling lumber
*Four tie down hooks when six were advertised
*Almost useless under seat storage
*Stupid tail-up stance making loading difficult
*Totally ineffective rear shocks
*Express up and down on only one window
*Drivers seat will go forward enough to touch the dash but won’t go back enough for six foot driver.

and this is the short list

All this bitching and complaining about the ranger should have this and the ranger should have had that is hard on the ears. If people would have taken these trucks for a proper test drive and done their homework there would be far less whining around here. No vehicle is perfect and if they are close they cost a hell of a lot more.

Was thinking the same thing.

I wonder if all the people in Australia said the same thing. :)
Yes, but it sounded like they said: “beaching and complyning“ ?

Where was this dude when the Ranger was in development? Sheesh!
11,000 miles away in Michigan. The 5G Ranger was designed in Australia starting in late 2008(?)
and debuted everywhere but North America for the 2011 Model Year.

Don't forget the thin sounding door slam....:)

If you ever get the chance, slam the door on a postwar F-1. Same sound. My 2015 Flex had that same sound, even with the strakes stamped into the sheetmetal.

That is a huge improvement over the current Ranger, but I'd be just as happy removing all under seat storage in my Ranger. The additional framing for the small storage bins in the Ranger, wastes as much space as the bins provide.

Maximize the flat floor area for those that want flexible interior space, and have an optional or removable storage compartment like the Maverick.
