These are the ones I'm running. Been three Wisconsin winters and they still look good. A few little rust spots but nothing major. They match the OEM nuts for shape and size perfectly. Have always held torque well between rotations.

Edit:
I've found with some of the other nuts that do not have the added ring, that there is a slight halo visible around the nut where the wheel finish gets lighter around the hole. These cover that up like the OEMs do.

Just ordered a set from Lug Nut Guys. The price is right but how is the quality and chrome?
I've purchased 20+ vehicles worth from them and never had an issue or complaint. When I get a new vehicle with the covered lug nuts, I order a replacement set immediately and throw the OEM ones away. All my trucks get the splined nuts.

Took my 2019 in for service and the dealership said they couldn't rotate the tires because the stupid 2pc lugnuts have expanded and they couldn't get them off. Interesting, as I got new tires 2 months previous at a tire shop. Dealer quoted me ~200 for a replacement set and not sure if they are 1 or 2pc style.

So I'm looking for a set of replacement 1pc lugnuts that are still the same size to fit the factory lug wrench. Anyone have a source for QUALITY replacements?
Hi David,

There are good leads in this thread. When I got my 2019 Ranger, I replaced them with chrome one piece lugunts that are available, but caution to make sure they are of the Ford Expanded footprint which many are not. There are threads here that can detail this. I just dropped by here on my old age journey into the people "rainbow brigde"

Best,
Phil

Oh sheesh, I guess I need these! I'd hate my nuts to freeze and assume I have 2 piece ones also (I took off the rear wheels last summer for that rear shock install but didn't pay attention to the lug nuts.

So would these DP ones for the XL's stock steel rims? I assume so but I take your word @Grumpaw as the gospel - thanks! =)

Same link as yours, just the chrome ones and the 24 pack:

David...not totally sure if they are proper for steel wheels...I have Lariat alloy's on mine.
Check if your stock 2 piece lug nuts are the same as ones used for alloy's....if their the same then the ones I posted should work. It's the cone shaped angle thats important for proper seating.
But, I have a steel spare and there is no negative info about securing the steel wheel with the alloy nuts, so they will probably work.
Yeah, the last thing you want is "frozen nuts".......:giggle:

Thanks for the info. I finally went with Dorman based on various posts here, especially ones that Phil added insight to (like having a flange or whatever the shoulder thing is called).

The only "con" to them, for me, is that they ain't made in the US but they are certified by some US Engineering thing.

I just want some piece of mind regarding that two-piece nonsense that was new to me.

According to the Dorman site, the ones I ordered should fit but I won't be confident until I actually try them out.

Besides, it's not often I get to play with the pneumatic impact wrench - that's some fun macho stuff (even with my atrophied damper arms!). =D

Meanwhile, this happened the other day in my great state of New Hamphire at a Dunkin' Donuts drive-through:

I’ve got a set of OEM lugs I can sell you. I got new ones with the Bronco Sasquatch wheels I put on and my old ones are in a bag collecting sawdust. PM me if anyone is interested.
