Congrats to the three people who will actually buy this product.

From a business stand point, trying to bring something like this to market for a dead generation Ranger seems a bit of a terrible decision.
I wouldn't say this truck is a dead generation. Just because there is a new model coming out doesn't mean companies will stop developing new products for it.

Long Range America is still making tanks for the last generation of jeeps, several generations back on lexus and toyotas. They're still making tanks for land cruisers that were built in the 90s.

Everyone has an ideal build, and to each their own. This tank will be worth it to those who deem it worthy to be installed on their rig.

Just because it's a 6g Ranger, doesn't mean there won't be compatible parts. According to Ford, the 2024 NA Ranger will have 18.8 gallon fuel tank, which may well be the exact tank as the 5G Ranger, and may be why LRA is working on getting it to market again.

Comparing the long running line of jeeps to a 4 year run of trucks seems a bit of a stretch.

But meh, more power to them.

I had a replacement large capacity tank in my previous rig (e250 v8 sportsmobile) it was amazing! never worried about running out of gas when on long road trips via backcountry or in baja between fuel ups.

Could you snap some more photos a bit further zoomed out showing the ground clearance lost (preferably from both sides of the vehicles, down low)? I am trying to get some more perspective on how low this really sits.

Finally ran out of gas. 37.3 gallons took me 766.4 miles.

The DTE is off a bit. I ran for about 80 miles with it showing 0 miles to empty.

I wonder if that will calibrate over time.

I love this concept, but price, lost clearance, are downsides. I do some wheeling that a lower tank would not benefit from. Would love a slightly smaller, cheaper option.
