So I have been checking all weekend in case the missing tunes came through. I had no reason to beleive they would over the weekend. But I just connected again and by golly they all came in.
Here was the accompanying email regarding only getting one tune:
"This sometimes happens if you have low bandwith, or slow internet speeds. We did mark these for downloading again. We recommend that if you have any other devices sharing your active connection, that tou temoporarily disconnect them during the download process."
I now have 87-93 tow v3, 91-93 performance v5, 91-93 softer shift v5 and 87-89 performance v2.

Nice! Those are all the most current versions.

I'm a little upset my AS/S doesn't work with the tow tune.
I think they now turn A/S/S off as the default because most wanted this. When I first got mine it wasn't like this but you can email them and request it be added back on and update your tunes.

Is it disabled in all the tunes?

Unfortunately they are. Once they send the new ones just update the MyCal and reflash the tune you want.

How much power difference is there between tow and performance tunes?

I believe it just shifts the focus. The tow tune is attempting to maximize torque, particularly early in the acceleration whereas the performance tune is looking to top out max HP at higher RPMs. The gains are noticable in both but the perf tune has the most seat-of-pants feel to it.

I wouldn't say they were rough, just weird timing. Again, I have only driven it about 1.5 miles so far.
The Ford Performance tune does this too. I think it has to do with clearing all the codes that get 'triggered' during the flash.

This right here! I really didn't care for the tow tune and it didn't "feel" like it had enough punch for me. Honestly I thought S mode stock was better. The performance tune just seems to have great hp all the way through acceleration and really takes off when you're up in the rpms. ?

I've been bouncing back n forth between the 91-93 performance & soft shift tunes for the past 2.5 years but will leave it on the performance tune now. Overall this is what I want, the most "seat-of-my-pants feel for the money. lol

I went from tow to performance and it was a huge difference on accelerating from a stop. I had to brake really quick because I hit another stop light. Tow tune will get you to 60mph within the same time frame but it doesn’t have the turboish feel.

Also. I got to say the 87 89 tune soft shift performance tune feels pretty good.

I was wondering about that. I would like not to have to always use 91 or 93. But didn't want to cheat myself out of anything I wouldn't get with the lower octane tune. I didn't get a 87 - 89 soft shift, just performance.
Why can't they make a 87 - 93 performance.

If I request tunes with AS/S enabled, will they update my current ones or will I have additional tunes with and w/o AS/S? Or should I just add it in Forscan?

91 and 93 are the same thing, adjusted for altitude. In Colorado, we don’t have 93. We only have 91. 87 and 89 is the same thing. We have 85/87/91 in the mile high. A tune made for 87 wouldn’t work on 93, at least not optimally. The computers in the truck would have to adjust, and that wouldn’t be efficient.
