Even twins separated at birth disagree on some things. But, I bet we also agree on this - when changing the audio volume on our Rangers you should never ever adjust to an odd number. It must always be at an even number. Adjust up or down to always leave it on an even number.
Especially 13!

When I bought my house in AZ one of the garage gfci plugs were ivory. Someone must of forgot to change out the temp. construction one and just stuck a while plate on it and called it a day. The first owner (obviously NOT OCD) left it! It was the first thing I noticed when I drove into the garage because of course it was right on the back wall. o_O Needless to say it was replaced that very first day as it stuck out like a sore thumb! Now I was able to live there happily ever after.:captain:?

BTW those receptacles are right. Some states here (CT I know does) require them to be that way with the ground facing up. Also in AZ every bedroom and living room will have one outlet like this. Those are all connected to a wall switch so you can just hit the switch and turn on a lamp.
They also require them that way in case the plug is not pushed all the way in and something falls on the plug. It will fall on the ground and not across the hot & neutral lines of the plug; causing a short and possibly a shock or worse, a fire. ?

Truth! I have seen numerous plugs that are hanging part way out due to movement or just plain been there forever and have a significant gap at the top, exposing the hot prongs.

Perfectly designed to fry every OCD brain within 2+ blocks...don't even have to be in that room...
Wow I never even noticed the power points until you pointed it out. I was still wringing my hands over those cupboards. Also weird for me to see a naked power point, over here by law, there must be a switch on all power point wall plates.

Sorry to have to say this, but you are mistaken sir - the original patent holder clearly shows over in his patent application.

Bah! That was 133 years ago. They obviously didn't know what they were doing back then! :p

That's an easy one, click it over to make sure it's at $40.00. Another one of my OCD pet peeves is not rounding up so that the sale is at either .00 or .05.

Anyhting else is just wrong!

That reminds me, I have a tripped breaker feeding my shed and battery tender on my Harley that always trips when it rains. I still haven't reset it yet, dammit!
