You know what the net margin is on every Ranger sold? It's hard to say. I know Ford's fourth quarter profits were dismal. There are still practically no Rangers in my part of Georgia; I had to wait four months on mine--ordered in October and took delivery Wednesday.
Only thing I found was this freep article saying they switched to quarterly reporting - https://www.freep.com/story/money/c...01/ford-gm-monthly-auto-sales-fca/2980093002/Anyone see the numbers yet?
Curious what January will be after the big Q4
I also think a huge piece of the loss was the botched Explorer/Aviator rollout - they were shipping built units all over the place trying to fix them before sending them to dealers. It sounded like a huge mess and couldn't have been cheap.Only thing I found was this freep article saying they switched to quarterly reporting - https://www.freep.com/story/money/c...01/ford-gm-monthly-auto-sales-fca/2980093002/
That and those pesky pension obligations that snuck up on em.
