Did they release a v6 model and not notify anyone? Saw this driving down the freeway yesterday... Still had dealer plates on it.

Actually have a good idea. Call Hilltop Ford at (510) 222-4444 and see if they sell V6 Rangers as you saw one on the freeway. :like:

I gotta tell ya ... I'm not sure I want a Taco V6 in my ranger ... now an eco boost ... maybe ... but ... not sure I'd need it ... and I love getting just under 23 mpg around town ?

IMHO... I highly doubt it. Considering most manufacturers ( including ford ) are making PR statements about how soon they will be " all electric ". Probably not to busy scheming up new combustion engine designs...especially ones with more moving parts and potentially higher emissions to midigate.

How is a V6 even tailgate badge worthy in the first place? Who the fuck cares about 2 more cylinders? 8 cylinders more, badge it up. Less than 4 and leaving me at a stoplight? BADGE it up... V6? Quit your bitching and go have a lie down.

I was thinking about just throwing in a 2.7 EcoBoost in my ranger later down the road
