Sounds like my gf she's cold year round. She walks around the house in the mornings now with a fleece lined blanket around her while I'm in shorts. lol

this is a crazy ass question, but I'm curious what everyone keeps their temp set in the winter and summer?
Winter 70
Summer 81
Winter: 70-71 (older and have circulation issues...I get cold) + space heater in living room pointed at me.

Summer: 72

According to what I can find out from so-called experts, if you have a heat pump as your primary system, that 68 degrees is the optimum setting year-round for efficiency. I have tried this with our new house and it seems to hold up. The pump runs less with it just kept at a constant 68 degrees.

WTF with women? They are burning up to the touch compared to us, but they are always cold. Lol. Such a conundrum.
Thank God mine is done with menopause and all those hot flashes. Even then she'd complained about being cold!

My wife is 30, I'm 53, and she is ALWAYS cold. You touch her and she feels like she has a temperature of 200 degrees.
And they keep telling us we have problems. lol

One thing though (for us out here in AZ) setting it at 78-80 is normal. When it's 108+ outside that a 30 degree difference is comfortable. Most ac units are at their max to handle (30 degrees) as far as temperature swings. Being a dry heat it's easier to cool down without all that humidity in the air.
Oh I’m sure it’s different. In Kansas it’ll be 95 degrees with 70%+ humidity. You walk out the door and are just immediately sweating. It’s awful.

That's how it was when I lived back in MA. I'd walk out the door at 6:00am and be drenched in sweat. The air is so thick it was hard to breath. Not that 108 is pleasant but it's much easier to deal with than high humidity. It was hard getting use to setting the thermostat so high here because back east you'd have to set it in the low 70's and even that was uncomfortable at times.

Central Texas: Winter 71 Day, 68 Night, Summer 76 Day, 74 Night. Those are programmed in the thermostat, but "someone" in the house is constantly changing them.

Cheap, not really. I set the temp to what is comfortable for me. I could set it to 68 all summer and
75 all winter and not have an electric bill above $120
