Ya that's great until the birds eat berries when they're in season. Then you got more stains to add to the ones from the last time you washed them! lmao

I tell my wife as long as she can get the brown and yellow stains out, everything's OK.

it's the latest technology....it dries clothes using a combo of wind power and solar power.

I've had good luck with Worldpool stuff. I have a Samsung fridge now but I was avoiding them. I found this on on a scratch an dent sale for $250. The side dent an scratch are hidden by a cabinet. I was looking at cheap used ones for the garage on facebook an it was full of samsung fridges that needed compressors. I had a high end Bosch dishwasher that the circuit board went bad in an I could have bought a new non Bosch dishwasher for less than Bosch wanted for the part to fix it. I tend to buy the more basic appliances because I see all the fancy stuff as more stuff to break.

You could buy the family hub and stay connected to Ranger 5G while you search for food, or perhaps watch porno flicks in the comfort of your kitchen. Instead of getting up from a more traditional internet browsing device one can now park themselves in front of the family hub and never be far from a food or beverage source.

We're all Whirlpool. Maytag-WP-Amana (same company) are about the only US-made appliances you can get anymore.

My Maytags, washer/dryer and refrigerator, of the 2006 vintage didn't make it too long.

The washer had quite a few small problems I fixed along the way. When it's board went out I gave up. The fridge's compressor went south for good all of a sudden.

I've got Whirlpool's in those 3 spots now. They've been solid so far.

Speaking of well-constructed appliances, I have a Hotpoint fridge that is over 30 years old and working like a champ! A repairman replaced a minor part about 5 years ago and told me that that the current ones are problematic and not well made. He owns an older one himself and said he was going to stay with it and replace parts as necessary as long as available, instead of getting a newer model.

If I am not mistaken, Hotpoint used to be the entry level series for GE and were solidly built, reliable and no frills appliances.

When my Dad built our home in '58-'59, all our new appliances were Hotpoints (he had a buddy who worked for the local GE distributor). The new kitchen upright freezer and fridge (2 separate units) were finished in some horrendous pastel pink, I think the shade was called "Salmon", my Mother specified because it matched the linoleum floor...

Want to play a fun game - order a part to fix a broken appliance. See how many use the exact same part because they are the exact same thing with a new name.

Just fixed my Whirlpool washer; the solenoid inlet thing went bad on it. Just before that, I had to throw in a fan on what I thought was an off-brand "Magic Chef" fridge in my garage.. both linked up to other brands. Not just a single part sharing thing.. but pretty much the entire thing except maybe the control panel.

That said. I have no brand loyalty as I have been burnt by almost all of them. They also overprice the hell out of replacement parts. Hope a logic board never goes out on a washer... just throw it away and get a new one.

23 yr old Frigidaire HE washer and dryer. Replaced parts on both but they are still running and parts are cheaper than new. By my calculations, close to 6,000 loads of wash.
Had a 23 yr old KitchenAid fridge that is now my neighbors garage fridge. The fridge before the KitchenAid just died this year, my brother-in-law had it as their basement fridge. Think it was a Frigidaire, had to be 30+ yrs old.
Kirkland (Whirlpool) freezer is 20 yrs old.
Whirlpool dishwasher was at least 15 yrs old before the rack rusted out and was replaced with the current Bosch we've had for about 5 yrs.
Unfortunately, all the newer stuff is getting more complicated and expensive to repair with all the electronics in them. I prefer the simple and mechanical old stuff.

ive got a frigidaire fridge that was new in 1968. still works fine. its a tank. had one of those metal tags on the front that says a product of general motors some such division usa. It has never needed a repair of any kind with the exception of defrosting the freezer box and some of the shelf spots inside gave up after many many cases of beer being on them. so i guess i will admit gm did make some things well lol.

Same here. Our Whirlpool dishwasher and range were installed when the house was built in 1992 (30 years ago). Neither have ever needed repairs and are still going strong.

We used to be Sears/Kenmore loyalists. After their decline, we went with Whirlpool. But they haven't been as good as we hoped. A gas cooktop was warranted out because the ignitors went out. They said the parts weren't available anymore - but I think the service company wrote it up that way. We also had a top load washer with an extended warranty thru Lowe's. It had been repaired twice for the same issue, and was also warranted out. So we switched to GE (Chinese owned, but I believe American made). Also had issues with their top load washer.

While we're not currently in the market for any new appliance, I don't know what brand we'd go with next.

Whirlpool washer and dryers great , last for year and years . First frigidaire ever a new electric range . Small part break down when new , calling warranty place was bad experience as they slowly yanked my chain before coming to fix it ..They made an appointment with a couple of local repair shops that told me they do not do their service ; idiots . Just wish all service centers were not in foreign countries .
