Struts are easily replaced,its not like you will open the hood everyday
If they last 100K miles or so thats like $1 per 1000 miles. I can live with that. I suspect they are a quality product.

All because the prop rod was in the way of the cameras and hood was too low to get enough light to shoot ? That's a fantastic video! And it makes me want to order a second pair! I do like that it opens more than the prop rod. Now why that matters for a 5 and a half foot tall guy that doesn't plan on doing his own maintenance, I don't know but I must have this. =)Redline Tuning has a video of the installation!
