Welcome to the club, we have pot lucks every third Wednesday of the month haha. So I found about mine talking with a parts guy at Ford. I told him the issues and he seemed to know right away it was the sensor (I wonder why ? ) anyways, I went with the oem part and that lasted a month. Went with a Napa auto part, lasted a week, and then I went with a standard auto one from rock auto and it has lasted four months thus far. I’ll see if I can hunt down the part number for you. ?
This is what I used directly from ford

Gas mileage is holding steady at 26.5 on the rural roads of Palm Beach County, going back and forth to work--city driving. Not bad at all!

I wanted to validate your mileage, so this evening we took the 2020 Ranger (4x4 stock except UPR catch can) 40 miles to go shopping. The trip went through one small town with a few stop lights, and then on open rural highways. I babied the truck never exceeding the speed limit, and keeping RPMs below 2300. And generally below 2000 when accelerating. Prior to starting the test I gassed up and reset my trip 1 meter.

On the way over I got 33.6 mpg (Downhill). On the way back I only got 30.1 mpg (Uphill). I never put my foot into it and timed the hilly areas to pickup speed on the way down and then let it bleed off to maybe 5mph below the speed limit on the way up.

So I believe 26.5 is very easily achieved with a two wheel drive Ranger.

Like I've previously stated, I managed 28.5 mpg going south east (down hill - 500' elevation drop) over 250 miles each way, and the trip back was 26.5 mpg. 80 of those miles were on I-95 running 70mph. I ran 60 on the rural two lane roads, except when passing through 5 small towns with stop lights and 25 mph speed limits. I did baby the throttle during acceleration.

98k here, have done most of the oil changes myself to date. Original Hankooks lasted close to 85k (highway driver) and haven't had to change brakes yet.

Recently added the Fox 2.0 kit from FRPP and Wildpeaks at 265/65/18.

Truck has been trouble free save for a few 'injector out of spec' type MILs that went away after clearing.

Looking to do the plugs and trans fluid in short order.

What can I say, nearing the 95,000 miles mark on my 2019 XLT and all is good...or should I say absolutely fantastic! I've had zero zip nada...not one single issue with this truck. It has seen the worst of roads. In fact, I drive it weekly off-road down here in the Florida Everglades. The engine is perfect, runs just like the first day off the show room floor. I've had no issues with anything else on the truck, either, not one single hiccup. Everything is functioning as good as new. I've performed routine maintenance with regular oil changes through my local dealer, the works package which includes tire rotation. Everything on the truck is bone stock, including the tires. Gas mileage is holding steady at 26.5 on the rural roads of Palm Beach County, going back and forth to work--city driving. Not bad at all! Can't ask for more as far as reliable is goes, imho. Both my previous F-150's had some issues by this point. And I've heard of horror stories on here from others with their Rangers but I just can't see any of that happening with this truck here. Knock on wood or just good luck or maybe my driving style, all is holding steady. Hope the same with others!

Here's to hoping I will be in the same boat as you in 55K miles:) 40K miles so far, not bone stock, but zero problems and super happy with my Ranger, trailing climbing, trailer pulling, stop and go city traffic, and highway miles. 19.5 MPG (3.5" lift / level, 10 ply rated 295/70-17 tires)

What a nice thread to read. Mostly positive and reassuring. We just got back from our annual month in the Sunshine state.
Spent most of the time in campgrounds along the panhandle.
This is us at the Blackwater River State Park. it's one of our favorites.

Just for the heck of it, I did a mileage experiment driving 55 mph on US 90, which runs parallel to I-10. The length of the test runs was about 50 miles each time and I was able to see 15 MPG towing and 29.something W/O the trailer. I think a 2 wheel drive would bump those numbers up. My normal 65 MPH towing mileage is right at 11 MPG. That's exactly what I got when towing our much bigger trailer with a RAM 2500 Cummins.
Anyway, OP, thanks for the good news.

I have gotten that good of mileage maybe even touch 30 on flat roads. BUT must be at 65mph max, and easy on the throttle.
Have you checked your mileage using the cave man method?
I always find the mpg gauge to be 1+ mpg over actual cmm.

I think I know how you get such great fuel mileage and have zero issues, two possible reasons actually You got the first Ranger built and Henry Ford himself came back to life and made sure that it was done correctly or you are being paid by Ford to quiet down the naysayers.

Beautiful area. Occasionally I look for a small chunk of property to winter on there. Blackwater Forest is an amazing place.

None of the above, sorry to disappoint. Always seems to be naysayers with this mpg subject on this forum...or even longevity. It is what is. Some trucks appear to get terrible mileage, wiped out transmissions, all kinds of crazy mishaps. On the flipside, I just can't see any of that happening with my truck. It sees the same hard road just like every other truck...soft dirt, too! The only other logical answer as to why some Rangers fare better than others has to be with the driver. That or a few lemons were made.

No issues lately with any of the screen freezing. I believe I had a minor problem when I first got the truck, maybe trying to figure out how to use the thing I might've messed up some settings. I think I reset or upgraded to latest firmware which made things right. Might try something like that.

Nice to hear that you're getting about the same mileage! Some folks on here are getting worse than my full size F-150....can't imagine that!
EVERY TIME I TRY TO UPGRADE TO LATEST FIRMWARE THE SCREEN FREEZES ALL OVER AGAIN AND I HAVE TO DO A FACTORY RESET AND TURN OFF AUTO UPDATES ETC..

I INSTALLED THE FORD PERFORMANCE TUNE, I RUN 91 OCTANE AND AM VERY EASY ON THE GO PEDAL. AS A RESULT, I AVERAGE 26MPG. I WISH FORD WAS PAYING ME TO SAY THIS!!!

30k miles, best we get in summer is 26mpg. For first yr the wife was a little hard on the peddle & we were 18mpg. This winter, for the last few months we would be lucky to get 18.
