Grille wrap advice

No luck with grille letters so I got some wrap that matches pretty well , never used any before ... should I do that whole bar across or just the FORD. ? , not sure I can do that in one piece ...

Why not start with the FORD letters and see how you like that first? Then you can always add the wrap to the bar after.

Flip the letters upside down and cut them using a sharp knife. Make sure you change the blade regularly because it'll dull out quickly and start to make jagged lines. These actually look somewhat easier as you can just over cut the letters and wrap it around the back side hiding the cut lines.

On the knock-off grilles, the letters are usually removable. I guess that would be a bit easier - still looks like a tough task. I’ll leave that to braver folks - although, if it doesn’t turn out well, it can be removed.

I would think tape templates maybe? I messed around with vinyl a little bit. First I tried blue nostrils on my old Roush grille that I quickly removed and then I did black vinyl on the tailgate near the handle like the Tremors have. Both times I made a tape template and traced the corners with a sharpie, transferred the tape to a couple file folders and made my cuts with a sharp exacto and a steady hand. You can realign and make adjustments then make your final vinyl template. I applied them using the wet method. Most apply it dry, you can also use knifeless tape if you have the space to lay it out and make your design. I’m sure there’s better ways and I’m no expert but this way worked for me.
