If you had bought a bottom of the line XL, it would look just like the way you modified it.​

I like the contrasting silver on the skid plate... but then again I hate black wheels too. I'm a boomer, and It's a boomer thing: contrasting colors and chrome meant you ponied up additional money and bought the better edition of the vehicle, not the stripped down version.

The wrap will be a maintenance nightmare, since the parts are silver. Every rock chip will look silver.

I'm a boomer too and I thought the silver/gray valance stuck out too much.
Not sure I care what trim level my Ranger looks like, I'm not trying to impress anyone but me.

stumbled across the black part from Ford - $150. I think it includes black parking sensors, would have to confirm.

There does not appear to be a stock black skid plate

I'm a boomer also but I prefer the black over the silver, so I sprayed it with Plastidip. It is holding up good so far.
