I priced the ranger at 2 local installers here in Vegas I got quoted 2100 at one place and 2400 at another! That’s why I decide to do it myself lol I’m such a tightwad!!!
So how much did the wrap material cost? Did you have to buy anything else to install it? And where did you purchase it? Did you have previous experience installing it, or are you learning as you go?

Sorry for all the questions - just curious

The wrap I got on Amazon, roughly around 400 bucks and I also bought wrapping tools (squeegee, knifeless tape, a good precision blade, couple magnets, etc!!) for about 60 bucks. Learned as I go, used a smaller piece of wrap to figure out the feel of placing on the ranger. I also watched a bunch of YouTube videos!

Can you post a link to the wrap? I may end up doing the clear down the sides of my truck to help protect it against brush.

Thanks

But I’m glad I can finally take this guy off-roading!!! Last thing will be to rebadge with the fx4 decals! I got some all grey and black!

looks great! You did an awesome job! But... your flag is backwards on the passenger side. :p
The blue field of stars should always be in the highest position of honor. When displayed on a "moving object" like a person or vehicle, the highest position of honor is the front, and not the rear; so the field of blue should be displayed to the front.

He's right. Flag always fly's in the wind.... unless you drive backwards everywhere.
It’s okay it’s magnetic, I put it there while I was wrapping the other side, it’ll go back on the driver side after I rebadge the decals, this is true though America !!

Unfortunately it’s magnetic and won’t stick to the front aluminum panel!

Looks sharp! Where did you get your front emblem cover? I’ll be looking for something similar when I black out my grille.

That's about the going rate in the Detroit area for a good quality wrap. I think I'm just going to do the hood lip with 3M clear. I don't really plan on ever selling the truck, so some pin striping isn't going to bother me too much.

Hey Patrick, quick question. Did you remove the shark fin from the roof or just wrap around it? I'm getting ready to do my roof and hood and I'm torn. I really don't want to pull the headliner down but I know wrapping around the fin will be a PITA.
