A few of us on this thread use the Limitlessparts on amazon. Ours still looks good and have not come off. We generally hand wash only though.

I went White - got them off Amazon also, but I went cheap and they worked and look good
Also did an emblem vinyl overlay to see how black with white letters looks before going to paint.

We too have the magnetic paint, black out (STX) and FX4. I couldn't figure why the lower valance wasn't silver?

If you don't mind me asking.. what was the build date of your truck?

They did not have these when I got my vinyl ones which are still good after 18 months. Noted that they were "officially licensed by Ford" too. Would have chose them and if I need to replace these would be a go-to. Might have chosen the carbon fiber for the chrome grill on my Lariat, or gun metal. The chrome grills especially look blah without them.

It's part of the Black Appearance Pkg on the XLTs and Lariats. Mine's the same way. The BAP made the front valence, grille, fender vents, mirror caps (at least on the Lariat) black along with the black wheels.
