I had a BMW awhile back that I swapped out the screen with a chinese android screen and it actually worked really well until I sold the car. $1300 is an expensive beta test, but you can always put your factory setup back in. Looks like it is all plug and play.
Anyways, I won't be doing anything...
Hah, yeah, I'd love to order one. Gotta finish my upgrade to Bilstein 6112s/5160s first and then maybe. Also have a 66 Mustang fastback that vies for my auto hobby funding.
Saw this on one of the facebook groups and had to look it up.
Not cheap by any means, but provides a nice update to the interior of the 5th-gen Rangers.

Because of this thread, I just plugged my Truck info into Carvana and they offered me just under $33k which is within a couple hundred dollars of what I bought it for. Thats nuts for a 1.5 year old truck.
If I had any problems with my truck, I would be clicking "accept" right now, but its been...
Hah, I don't know. I think I had done it shortly after putting the damper on. I might struggle to even get under the truck now due to all this atrophy.
?
I have a tailgate damper and I was able to install rear Icon 2.0 shocks by hand with the truck on the ground (no lift/support). I just lay on my back and grabbed it by the sides of the tube and pressed it up so I didn't risk catching my fingers by doing it from the very bottom.
I updated mine without any problems. I did get prompted to log into Ford Performance and once I did, it downloaded the file to the tuner.
Haven't driven it yet though so no impressions on how it feels to the original FP Tune.
RTR is having a 20% sale on 11/27 for Black Friday in case any of you have been waiting. It’s a 1 day only sale. I’m still not sure if I want to buy the grille but it’s a strong temptation.
Yes I had a great experience. My local Ford dealer wouldn’t negotiate at all. They wanted $40k plus taxes and fees for a used Lariat.
I’ll definitely look at Koons first for my next Ford.
I think it was all timing and probably every one of them was on an XLT. I never saw the Lariats discounted that much. The Black Friday deals last year were amazing. I have no idea if that will happen again this year.
I did no haggling whatsoever. I found an XLT listed on Koon's Ford of...
If I lived in Texas with my Ranger, it would definitely be named Walker.
As it is, I named mine The Tesseract, not for any particular reason. I just like the word/concept. I don’t actually call it that, but that’s its FordPass name. I just call it the truck.
Forgot to add, they have never been offroaded. Only street driving. I got them for the improved stance and stiffer ride.
There are no leaks or other known issues.
I’m looking into selling my Icon Stage 1 front and rear coilovers/shocks. I had them on the truck for 3000 miles and they transformed the ride.
My wife on the other hand wants the ride softer and to not run into potential warranty issues for now so I may be looking at the FP Fox shocks to...
Yeah, I would probably end up paying like $600 to change from Icon to the Ford Fox setup, and if anything broke in the future that they denied, I could probably replace it myself for $600.
Doesn't make sense.
Thanks, I may do that. I have the Icon Stage 1 coilovers on the truck now and its definitely way better than stock. I was considering switching to the Ford Fox kits just to maintain warranty, but I'm probably just paying more money to get a slightly worse shock setup. What are the chances that...
