Hello, I tried searching and didn't come up with much

Owners manual states change engine and frame mounted fuel filters every 30k

I'm at 24k

Was wondering if anyone has done it? I know there are a few higher mileage rangers around here already

I've done a few filter changes over the years so I looked from the tank along the frame and the engine bay and didn't see anything so I am wondering if it's a misprint in the manual

Can someone steer me in the right direction please?

Well the thing is you need to find the fuel filter first..... And I will say that when you find it you will not be able to change it due to the fact the only one on the truck is built into the fuel pump assembly in the fuel tank.

It's most likely inside the tank as part of the pump, strainer/sender assembly...
