Hi there,

About to replace my fuel filter and I’ve noticed the WIF sensor block on top has an extra piece that’s clipped on the a fuel line. Can’t find any videos that have this extra piece. Any ideas what it is or how to go about removing it?

TIA

It looks like you simply - release the zip tie (it has a release tab)
and then
unclip the safety from the tube end - just be careful as - plastic is brittle (heat aging)
and if you unable to get the zip tie to release - repeat the same for the bigger tube
or if the zip tie will release - just release it and they pry up - at the threaded stud to pull it off.
once they are free - the part that is closest to the connector - is just fitted over the stud.
Basically under that - arm (record player) is a nut that is holding the module down and that arm is a secondary holding arm to keep the fuel line from backing off the fitting (a lock)
Its fitted over the stud - that the nut is on (friction fit-to the threads)
