From Ford Authority (link at bottom)

Ford Motor Company is offering a few attractive Ford Ranger discount offers in April, with the most noteworthy being $4,000 off select models. The deal is rather generous compared to incentives offered earlier in the 2020 calendar year, such as the combined offer in January and the $3,750 offer in March.

Ford Ranger discount offers vary by market in April 2020. Below, we list the heftiest discounts in four major U.S. markets:
  • New York City:
    • 2019 Ranger: buyers can choose between two offers:
      • 0 percent APR for 84 months, or
      • $1,250 cashback rebate
    • 2020 Ranger: 2.9 percent APR for 60 months + $1,500
  • Detroit:
    • 2019 Ranger: $2,500 total discount on any 2019 model
    • 2020 Ranger: $3,250 total discount on any 2020 model
  • Miami
    • 2019 Ranger: buyers can choose between two offers:
      • 0 percent APR for 84 months, or
      • $1,250 cashback rebate
    • 2020 Ranger: buyers can choose between two offers:
      • 0 percent APR for 72 months, or
      • $1,000 cashback rebate
  • Los Angeles:
    • 2019 Ranger: $2,750 total discount on any 2019 model
    • 2020 Ranger: $4,250 total discount on any 2020 model
      • Includes $1,000 Conquest Cash, which requires buyer to be owner of non-Ford/Mercury/Lincoln vehicle for at least 30 days prior to purchase
All of the above Ford Ranger discount offers will expire after April 30th, 2020. Shoppers should also note that the discounts are model year specific, with 2020 Ranger models getting one set of discounts that are different from those offered on the 2019 Ranger.

In addition, some incentives are also available only on vehicles that have arrived at the dealer at least 61 days prior to the sale date, while other offers require a trade-in. As such, we recommend visiting your preferred Ford dealer for specific details

I purchased my new 2019 2 weeks ago. Discount offers couldn't be combined so I took 0% for 84 months. 2020 models were 0%/72 months. Chicagoland area.

I got $5,000 off AND 0% with 3mo deferral (up to 6mo possible) on mine last week. Only truck on the lot with that particular combo of discounts, but I jumped on it.

Ill bet there are probably going to be some really good deals out there when this is finally over or close to it, I bought about a month ago when this was just getting started I think I got a pretty good deal but you always wonder if there might have been better down the road!

XL or XLT? Options? There’s so many variables

I like my Ranger but I’ll consider a Bronco if I can get deals like this on one. #pipedreams

I hope there are some good offers in May. Living in WA, all auto sales are shut down (except for special circumstances) until early May.

XLT 4x4, 302A, chrome package, chrome steps, chrome 18" wheels. MSRP was ~$41k. If I didn't take the loan terms, they were willing to go $8500 off MSRP, but $5k off plus the loan deal was a better price overall.

To be fair, the reason for the combination of deals was because it was a former courtesy vehicle. But with only 2k on the odo and being sold as "new" with a full warranty, I wasn't going to turn it down.

I'll wait till the end of the year...
The dealers are bleeding $$$. Any offer will be a blessing to them.

Just in the process of buying a new 2019 Jeep JLU MOAB for my wife from a West Coast dealer. MSRP is $53,300 (with factory freight). The vehicle has been discounted in excess of $10,500 ($6200+ from FCA and $4300 from the dealership), and others on the lot, including Gladiators, are discounted over $12k. Looks like my out-the-door price (with fees, but without tax, title, & registration) will be right around $42,800. If my math is correct, that puts it just shy of 20% off MSRP and around 14.5% below invoice. I’m not financing with them.

2020 Wranglers are also lower priced this week than previous, although it’s likely the 2019’s are getting the biggest discount just to clear them off dealer lots. The factories may be idle, but the lots still appear full. Nevertheless, these discounts are virtually unheard of in the Jeep Wrangler world. Hard to say how long the current discounts will last, but more importantly, what will these unusual sale prices do to the traditionally high resale value of Wranglers?

I think every manufacturer and every dealer is going to feel the pain of this and while I consider myself the recipient of a pretty good deal, I wonder what both the new and used vehicle market will look like in six months. Consider the new Bronco. How do you even price it in light of these circumstances or do you just hold off its introduction? IMHO, I suspect Ford will extend current discount offers on Rangers as the dealers are getting pretty nervous. BTW, I tried to buy a Jeep in Pennsylvania, but the dealer stated he could not sell it to me even online as they have been closed by the governor’s executive order.

I’m curious if they delay the Bronco. Was it supposed to be a 2021 model? What happens if it was built as a 2021 but not available to be sold until 2022?

Won’t even try to guess what Ford will do with the new Bronco and the new Bronco Sport in terms of introduction, production, or pricing. Originally, the full-size Bronco was to be introduced in spring 2020 (and still may be), Job 1 on December 1st, then in dealer showrooms by February or March of 2021. I have attached the link to the Bronco6g Forum here and would suggest you head there for your answer(s). They are far more educated on this than I.
