You might consider ordering it. End of year rebates should be out in November. Hopefully they are at least half of what they offered last year (so 3-5k off).
Also remember that rebates are area specific, so a deal in CA may have higher rebates than what you would actually receive.
I've been running 285/70/17 on my Jeep Wrangler for 4+ years now. They have been great in the snow, mud and rain. I've taken them down to 15 psi and rock crawled some crazy areas. Been a great tire for me and I will be putting them on a Ranger this winter.
Still torn between 255/75/17 and...
From my research and dealer site searching, it seems like 2500 is minimum for a dealer discount. A good deal would be more like 3500-4500 (dealer discount) plus current rebates from Ford. I have seen numerous dealers offering 3500-3800 off of low (less than 100 ) mileage new Rangers so maybe...
Not sure if it's been covered, but the DAV also offers X-Plan. Currently they are offering $1000 incentives (on top of other rebates) as well. For all of the Veterans out there - it's worth checking out. Thank you for your service!
You and me both - though I'm holding out a bit longer for the Nov Black Friday Specials. Seems like that is peak incentives and peak inventory/choices.
Oh and if you are a Veteran - check out the DAV discounts. Looks like they are adding $1k plus X-Plan.
Great - looks like about $3-4k off from dealer is typical (plus local rebates). Hopefully the rebates in November are close to what they did last year.
Enjoy your truck!
I saw almost that exact truck in CO with a 3700 dealer discount (not including local rebates of 2500). magnetic, sport, black appearance, tow, running boards, MSRP 39505
I live in CO and love my Wrangler. It is great on 4x4 trails, in the snow and mud, but not as comfortable on longer trips. I'd probably add a Gladiator if I enjoyed overlanding, but certainly not if I lived in a big city. Instead I am looking for a Ranger as I'd like a reliable newer truck...
Used-vehicle auctions are for now virtually paralyzed, much like the rest of the economy. The grave concern market watchers have is that vehicles already are starting to pile up at places where buyers and sellers make and take bids on cars and trucks -- and that this imbalance will last for...
Some dealers in Denver and Spokane are offering 4-5k off plus rebates. End of the quarter is typically max rebate time from Ford.
Also - looks like Kirkland is doing 4-5k off. So we know dealers have that much room in their margins to negotiate. Add in rebates and 7k+ off should be the new...
A couple of dealers in CO have offered me invoice without even asking. One said they would do 8% off MSRP. Right now I am looking at a truck in Boise with 11% off MSRP with rebates. Yes, prices are coming down!
I ran spacers on my Wrangler with bigger tires. They were bigger - 1.5" and my ball joints wore out early (less than 30k miles). 1/4" is a lot smaller so maybe not as much stress
