I found the engine cover%,studs, and nuts at oem ford parts fast; https://www.oemfordpartsfast.com/
Tasca, Levittown, and one other were out of stock and unavailable.
I thought the company, Sam Galloway Ford, was in Texas but the parts shipped in two day from Ft. Meyers FL.
So maybe this will help out if they have more in stock. The shipping was a little steep but it's not Amazon and shipping prices still exist.

Wonder if they omitted mount points on the new heads. 2 fasteners to hold this on. As far as I’m aware we all have mount points for there weather we have them or not

Mine is a recent 22 (July)and both mount points are there. I messed up and only ordered one but I had a perfect spare in the parts box. I just said it was a 21 and the order went right through. I didn't give them my vin.

Now I wonder if I should remove my engine cover? I'd be pretty peeved if they ever said I voided my warranty and extended warranty because of it.

That's weird, I put a kit on my '22 and it fits fine (and gets all the babes too, plus more HP!).

I got mine from Levittown and it was the only part number I've ever seen for it.

Terrain Management switch. It gives non FX4 rangers more selections in 4X drive. It’s an upgrade along with some Forscan changes. Adds great functionality

You people are absolutely freaking AWESOME!!! At least a few of you did call Armando! I can't tell you how much I appreciate it!!! Not sure what happened, but I got a call from Armando, today. My pickup is ready and washed and the warranty is being honored 100%. I'm at work, so they are dropping it off at my house! Armando got a kick out of the calls because it appears everyone was polite? The other part of this that makes absolutely ZERO sense is that the whole POINT of the TSB is to address this exact issue - as it comes up!

This dealership is playing you HARD. The TSB is literally there to address water/condensation getting onto the plugs and from what I know, Ford doesnt perform any TSB unless the problem is present. I.e. if you didnt have water on the plugs when you took it in, they wouldnt give you an engine cover.

This is 100% on ford, and they've admitted it. Unless we're missing a big chunk of the story, this is exactly WHY the TSB exists. Go to another dealer. This is a ford issue.
