Ford finds out that the engine cover was causing more eng. heat. To improve the engine longevity they removed the foam cover in later models. Also improved parts sales. ROTFLOL

Why does it say it won't fit a 2022 Ranger?Cheap HERE.
If I remember right that’s where mine came from. His prices are darn reasonable.Hello Rangers
I found the engine cover%,studs, and nuts at oem ford parts fast; https://www.oemfordpartsfast.com/
Tasca, Levittown, and one other were out of stock and unavailable.
I thought the company, Sam Galloway Ford, was in Texas but the parts shipped in two day from Ft. Meyers FL.
So maybe this will help out if they have more in stock. The shipping was a little steep but it's not Amazon and shipping prices still exist.
Good luck.

Wonder if they omitted mount points on the new heads. 2 fasteners to hold this on. As far as I’m aware we all have mount points for there weather we have them or notWhy does it say it won't fit a 2022 Ranger?
These will become just like the TM switch before it, scarce! So, I wonder if my 2023 will have the "new" cover that someone mentioned? I may order the one linked in this thread just in case.
TM switch? These will become just like the TM switch before it, scarce!
That's a very good point and I ought to also keep my nose out of other people's business. =DLet's get that nose checkedYou don't want to go through life with a malfunctioning nose

That's weird, I put a kit on my '22 and it fits fine (and gets all the babes too, plus more HP!).Why does it say it won't fit a 2022 Ranger?
Terrain Management switch. It gives non FX4 rangers more selections in 4X drive. It’s an upgrade along with some Forscan changes. Adds great functionalityTM switch?
Your poor mother! ?I’m a little bit of both these dudes?
Wow, so you've gotten all squared away? That's fantastic! =)You people are absolutely freaking AWESOME!!! At least a few of you did call Armando! I can't tell you how much I appreciate it!!! Not sure what happened, but I got a call from Armando, today. My pickup is ready and washed and the warranty is being honored 100%. I'm at work, so they are dropping it off at my house! Armando got a kick out of the calls because it appears everyone was polite? (i hope). I'll post pictures when I get home today. Again, thank you!!! Even you trolls
I originally came to this forum to get ideas for rim, wheels, storage and racks. I found my center console vault and phone holder, as well. I didn't expect to find actual backup?!?! I will be a much more attentive member of this forum, from now on. (I'm gonna say it, again; thank you!!!)
Have a look. It’s crazy…The other part of this that makes absolutely ZERO sense is that the whole POINT of the TSB is to address this exact issue - as it comes up!
This dealership is playing you HARD. The TSB is literally there to address water/condensation getting onto the plugs and from what I know, Ford doesnt perform any TSB unless the problem is present. I.e. if you didnt have water on the plugs when you took it in, they wouldnt give you an engine cover.
This is 100% on ford, and they've admitted it. Unless we're missing a big chunk of the story, this is exactly WHY the TSB exists. Go to another dealer. This is a ford issue.
Was wondering what happened to this saga.I'm not sure what I can do to convince folks that this is real. However, it feels very good to know that no one can believe it's true! I feel vindicated, some
