Engine Cover Kit Discontinued??

I'm still not sure this is over. It really does appear that the warranty has a nuance that allows TSB 21-2147 casual part: 21022A68 code: 68 to void your powertrain and Extended warranties. I'm not sure the dealership isn't paying the 40% just to get me to go away

That is complete hogwash. They lied to you. The picture they gave you has nothing to do with a 2.3L Ecoboost head, the things they told you about the TSB not being done voiding the warranty is hogwash because if you filled the spark plug well with water every single time it had fully evaporated off, it will not damage the head. The TSB is to add a cover if water has caused corrosion of the ignition components in that well, it says absolutely nothing about head damage.

It was all hogwash. The dealer is a crook. You almost paid over $3K for nothing.

You need to file the complaint with the BAR. Do it for your fellow Ford owners in the area.

same thing happened with the EGR valve thing - became an issue went way up in price and then went on allocation. And most dealers still will refuse to replace it - and no TSB from the mother ship.

I guess I just don't do conspiracy theories and I use the Ignore button... alot! ?

My pickup is ready and washed and the warranty is being honored 100%. I'm at work, so they are dropping it off at my house! Armando got a kick out of the calls because it appears everyone was polite? (i hope). I'll post pictures when I get home today. Again, thank you!!! Even you trolls
I originally came to this forum to get ideas for rim, wheels, storage and racks. I found my center console vault and phone holder, as well. I didn't expect to find actual backup?!?! I will be a much more attentive member of this forum, from now on. (I'm gonna say it, again; thank you!!!)

I’d like to think that Ford Customer Care set them straight but I secretly hope that between reading the forum posts and receiving the phone calls, the dealer filled his shorts and had a change of tune.

I hope this saga is over for you Walter. ?
