Not a fan of crocs? ?
They’re even customized

I tell you what - Crocs are butt ugly but they are comfortable - and LIGHT (I love them when I go backpacking).

A good example of function over form.

In the upcoming month, I’m looking to tackle a project that I’ve been pushing to the side for awhile. I’ve always wanted to get my headliner (and trim pieces inside the truck) black. In my opinion this is something ford should’ve just done from the factory.

I’m looking for any sort of suggestions on first to remove the headliner and the side trim pieces; if anyone on this forum has removed any of these before. I hate to break clips and am looking for some tips.

I will be (at least in my head for now), dying the headliner and painting the plastic trim pieces with some sort of vinyl paint, maybe have to sand before? Not sure. All a learning curve, really can’t mess it up that much.

With this process, I’ll update how the whole thing goes. I figure it’ll be a pain, but in the end, at least in my mind, it’s doable. (Hopefully) ?
what about the ROW wildtrak parts??? all black/charcoal and stock stuff.
looks pretty nice, like in the coffin? the reason why i bought this and not the limited trim. I do not like white headliners since i had my first GTI in the early 90‘s?
editmeans : TOO LATE ?

All those parts are way too expensive. I’m totaling around $200 for this project while that would be over 1000

I've never tried them but clearly they're popular. My one question, aren't they sweaty feeling? I suppose the answer must be "no", but since I trust folks here (ha, ha, ha says my wallet), I'd love to hear about that aspect.

Now feet pics!! People pay money for that and you do it for free david! Lmao,
Yeah, they dont feel cool, or that great on your feet, not for me anyway. Just bought a pair because on sale and wanted to see what all the hub ub was about. Still prefer the deadpool flip flops. But they work great as a hybrid shoe/sandal when i need to pick something up at the drive through or something. I only use em around the house. I wouldn't spend money on another pair

I don't find them to be sweaty feeling since they are so open. I think the best way to see is to try them for yourself. They are one of the oddest footwear I've ever seen, and just looking at them you wouldn't think they are comfortable, IMO.

Are the soles gel filled or hard? I have high arches and have a hard time wearing most shoes, sneakers and hikers. I can't wear flat soled flip flops because my feet are killing me in a few minutes and I'd love to get something like this if they're that comfortable.

Sorry @tygr2007 for turning your thread into a foot fetish thread. But you know how things go here once the main post is complete it goes off course fast. ??

That is kind of part of the weird part about them. The bottom of the inside of the sole has all these bumps - they don't look comfortable but when you wear them they are. I'd suggest just going somewhere that sells them and try them on and see what you think. They are incredibly ugly, IMO, but they are weirdly comfortable - and light.

All done. I need another coat on the headliner but after that it’ll be good. Honestly this was a dumb project but I’m 17 and need stuff to do.

Great job kid! When I was your age, I turned my inherited Mercury Zephyr brown landau roof POS into a monotone BMW clone with full blackout interior...memories...
