He could have bought it already totaled and is parting it out. Looks like a dishonest seller too. His Marketplace rating is 2 stars and the reviews are bad.

Yeah, this attitude will bring in buyers.
1-This guy is not an honest seller! Read his reviews. I drove long distance to see a car he told me was perfect and was actually a complete piece of junk.

2-Seller does not want to describe damage resulting of salvage title this individual is extremely rude he will not answer my questions regarding documentation this vehicle is something to stay away from

3-He cursed at me because I asked for a picture of the title or a carfax.

4-Terrible communicator. Gave me the VIN number after asking 4 different times. Plus called me stupid for asking for the VIN

When did they discontinue the tensioner cover? Ad says it’s a 2021.

First thing I look at is when they joined FB.
Second is look at their profile.
Third is what else they have posted for sale.
Fourth are buyer reviews, if they have any that is.

Before I moved, I sold quite a bit on MarketPlace. Hope to never have to go through that again. Did meet some nice people too though. Actually, most were nice, decent folks. Handful of really rotten apples spoiled the thing for me. After a long day of no shows, stupid offers, and everything that went with those few bad apples, I barked at a guy for not following directions. I apologized over and again, and he understood. He met the same type as well.

We don't do any social media but Annie does have a Facebook account but it's not in her name. She uses it to see what her family posts as most are scattered around the country.

I started using it to sell stuff on Marketplace and yes there are some rotten apples on there but really no worse than Craigslist. Most just throw out stupid low ball offers and I just delete them without responding but most have been decent people. I sold a lot of stuff when we moved from Arkansas that I had bought for the new house. The log splitter, generator and backpack blower were all brand new and luckily I got them on (a good) sale so I recouped my money since they were all still new. I think it's human nature to think what you're selling is worth top dollar yet what you're buying is way overpriced. lol

I couldn't move most of my stuff, so It had to sell. When people low balled me I'd tell them what a deal it was at my price, (and it was). Others, I raised the price to them when they low balled me. Reverse screwing with them.

I love the ones who make an offer and that they’ll pay in cash. Damn straight you will.
My son sold a Play Station something when he lived in Mississippi, was asking $175, met up with the guy, the guy handed him 2 $100 bills, my son said he didn't have enough change, the guy said "it's still a deal for $200, and left. My son got back in his car, and felt something was wrong. He looked at the bills and they were "For TV/Movie use only"...... Expensive lesson learned.
