Revisiting this image, it is obvious that this is an oldie since it was done before GM decided that round wheels need square wheelwells.

That's be like being on the interstate 80 to Salt Lake City from Nevada...nothing changes and you'd think you weren't moving...

Looks like a dildo on wheels. Probably runs on Astroglide and shit load of C-Cell batteries.

What a dumb name. They should have gone back to the s10 nameplate.

I’m sure it will be absolutely hideous like everything GM makes. I can’t understand how one company can have such universally detestable design language but my god they put out some ugly vehicles!

I grew up in a GM household but now we are all Ford and Toyota.
If it wasn't for the Corvette I would have never owned a GM product (except for my Dad's '67 Camaro that's in the garage right now). And they even screwed the pooch on these in the 80's. The '83 didn't make it to market, but the '84 looked just as bad. In my mind it was around 1973 when GM forgot how to make a good looking vehicle. IMHO

I have always been amused by the way that popular trim options are converted into basic model designations. I had a 1972 Chevy pickup with the Cheyenne trim package. Others that come to mind: Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, Ford Ranger.
