How was the installation of the mud flaps? Pretty straight forward?
Yeah, it was pretty easy. The fronts were a little more involved than the rears, since it involved turning the wheel to get clearance, the extra hardware to deal with, and pulling back the wheel well liners to access it.

Glad to have them, now. Already helping to cut down on the mud accumulation on the front of the step. Should also help keep my tires from throwing rocks into the body panels when I'm on forest service roads (or right after I return to pavement).

Mine came with running boards and a tonneau folding hard cover.

I got the bed mat because I'm not ready to drop the cash for the spray in liner and I like the Ranger branding. https://accessories.ford.com/liner-load-compartment-12135.html

I also got the plastic cover for the tailgate and the tailgate damper.

I think this will be next purchase for me:
https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/a...ories/kit-tool-storage-box-lockable-9762413-1

The bed mats are good even with the liner,I've always had both. It keeps the liner clean if you haul any mulch or stone, keeps stuff from sliding all over and is a nice padding for your knees.

For me it was pedal commander. I found a used one for 100 and it is night and day difference in throttle response. Doesn't add horsepower but makes it so when you push the pedal it responds immediately.

Installed the bed mat and tailgate damper this week. Damper is Great! Best $40 you could spend. The mat is really nice too. Protects the bed but also nice to be able to put stuff in and not have it slide all over the place.

Here’s what I’ve done
  1. Husky floor mats
  2. Dash cam
  3. Linex liner
  4. Leer cap
  5. Molded mud flaps
  6. Rear seat hammock for the dogs
  7. TAC side steps
I’d like to tint the front windows and wrap the roof in black but I’m holding off on spending until I know I’ll have a job still.

The best big-ticket modification that I have done was the Ford Performance Fox Two-Inch Leveling Lift, which came in at near $2,000.00 OTD; the best cheap mods were the Rough Country bed mat and the DZ damper for the tailgate, roughly one hundred bucks a pop.

I guess if were taking the Ford Pass points into account, the swing out tool box is a winner for me, I have a laundry list of other goodies, but if were talking bang for the buck....

What do you think are the best upgrades for the Ranger, for the money? I'm not looking to change tires and wheels or a crazy lift or expensive engine mods. Just cool stuff that no one would think of for the $Money$
Here are the things that I have done to my Ranger:
1) soft tonneau cover
2) Tailgate Damper
3) Raptor-style Grille (painting it to Magnetic color cost more than the grille)
4) ODBII - USB to run Forscan mods
5) Lower Grille
6) Dynamic Diode License Plate replacements
7) Dynamic Diode Side marker replacements
8) Ford Performance Coilovers
9) Hard rollup Tonneau cover
10) Black Stainless RANGER lettering for tailgate
11) Line-X spray in bed liner (well worth the cost)
12) Stubby antenna
13) Raptor style lights to go with the Raptor style grille

My Ranger came with the WeatherTech style floor liners and step rails so I did not need to purchase those.
