Replaced the rears with Fox2.0 shortly after purchase. My truck would make me motion sick at times but the shocks fixed the bouncey / roll effect. But I have to say I’ve never had to replace parts on a brand new vehicle just to be able to stand the ride.

Too a lot depends on the pitch of the ramp, My brother had a 2 wheel truck and a much smaller boat we intentionally looked for the most shallow ramps even if we had to go out of our way…… that’s a lot of boat on a steep/slippery ramp
Will definitely report back, years back I had a 21’ center console boat and towed it around Panama City FL but that was with my previous truck a F150 but I’ve never towed on the interstate or such a big bodied boat on top of that with a smaller bodied truck ……. this will be a learning experience...
I did have a spare added to the boat and yesterday purchased a pair of clamp on tow mirrors that I found at a local O'rileys parts store. I also purchased 4 new ratchet straps for the bow and stern of the boat and plan to check the air and lugs nuts on the trailer prior to hitting the road...

Yea I have the tow package and yes the trailer has surge brakes. There is a 2 lane route but it goes through numerous small towns and for sure would be more congested and have people wanting to pass and such which is why I’m favoring the interstate route.
