Darn. I would say it would fit, they are the same truck! But, maybe there is something different? I doubt it, but don't take my word.

I mean you're talking about the bed, not the engine or whatever.

So I found this AMP bed extender on Amazon. It says it's for a 2019 Ranger, but Amazon tells me it doesn't fit a 2021 Ranger. I suspect Amazon's compatibility database just isn't updated, but I was wondering if anyone could confirm that this extender actually does fit a 2021 Ranger?

I would say it'll fit because nothings change body wise from 2019-2021. Stage 3 has the same part number listed on their site for 2019 & 2020 so I think no one has updated their database yet.

https://www.stage3motorsports.com/7...areside-AMP-Research-BEDXTENDER-HD-Sport.html

Edit: Stage 3 has a video out showing it for a 2019-2021 and if you read the comments someone did install it on their 2021 and says it fits.

It fits the 2021 Ranger Supercrew!! I just installed it on my new 2021 Ranger Lariat Supercrew which has a spray on factory liner and a Bakflip Tonneau Cover and it fits perfectly, no problems. Remember, If you have a spray on bed liner you will have to clean out the bracket threads on your truck with a M6X1 Threading tap. Great video Noah, good job, thanks.

Any links to headlights, and other lights? Plug and play, that easy?

Thanks,
Jax
Auxito or diode dynamic has the search just plug in your year and trim and itll give you everything you need. literally unplug the old halogens plug in the new hid / leds and your good to go :). Im in the process of getting switchback for my running/ turn signals in the front thats the only part youll need anti hyperblinks spliced in, but if you have any handyman skills its a simple crimp and seal.

I'm really not sold on these things. They look like they could be handy in the right circumstances, but also a hassle for most typical things.

Do they quick release to get them out of the way if you need to remove them for larger, longer items?
I had them on both Sport Tracs I owned previously, they release pretty easily. I like them because when folded they keep things like groceries and beer from sliding all over the bed. Ranger does not have one so I’m getting by with a 2x4 in the bedliner pockets.

I cannot confirm fitment. But there are no changes to the bed for '21, except the rear flares on a Tremor package. If it were my truck I wouldn't have a problem ordering it.

Will this interfere with a tri-fold tonneau cover folded up?

I don't know if they are still putting those long antennas on the 2021 Rangers but in the event they do you might consider a CravenSpeed Stubby Jr antenna if you don't like the long one. Just mentioning it since you asked. It was the first thing I did to my Ranger.

Of course I have seen some people here never even knew there was one and it turned out the factory antenna was in the glove box.

Oh and when you get yours check the tire pressure and washer fluid. It seems there have been some issues with pre-delivery inspections. :)

I hope you enjoy your new Ranger! I love mine.
I just got my 2021 Ranger Crewcab XLT with Black Appearance Package a few days ago. My FordPass app is showing tire pressure at 35 psi on 3 of the tires and 36 on one. When I look at the door panel driver side, it specifies 30 for front and rear. Also app is showing my washer fluid low.

But back to the air pressure, when I googled it, it says tires are often over inflated at the factory for the shipping process to prevent flat spot from forming when the truck sits. Supposed to be checked though during dealer predelivery check. Obviously mine wasn't checked too closely. I notice my ride is a bit bouncy on this particular Ranger compared to another new one I drove. I wonder if the over inflation has anything to do with it. Going to let some air out tomorrow and find out.

Yep. Mine came from the dealer at 40. Lowered to 30 and it's night and day different.

Hi Tom,

Flippin' dealers are paid to set tire pressure....They rarely do. Mine were all around 45 to 47. It is a myth that the tires are set for shipping...it has nothing to do with shipping...it is the pressure in the tire to seat the bead on new tires as they come down the tire line and feed the final line at the assembly plant. There are folks on these forums that dispute this and some that "know" folks in the shipping yards that run around inflating tires prior to shipment.... Simply not true. As my team and I had to do plant drives from time to time to assure plant quality, we all carried certified tire pressure gauges and the pressures we found were all in the mid 40s to low 50s. We reset these evaluation trucks to door label and then after the drive, slapped a sticker on the the side window to indicate X mileage was accumulated on the vehicle as part of an engineering evaluation and that the warranty was extended by the amount shown on the sticker. It was usually less than 20 miles, but could not exceed 75 miles or we had to buy the unit. Vehicles that were evaluated were then sent to the shipping yard and shipped...no one added pressure back into the tires.

Dang dealers just do not want to take the time to set tire pressures. Crazy as a potential customer wishes to drive a truck, for example and notes the vehicle drives "like a truck" and passes on purchase of an otherwise good vehicle. I wish Ford had a way to automatically reset tire pressure of the trucks before the customer drives them....but this is not possible.

When I bought my Ranger, the salesman grabbed the keys of the Ranger I ended up buying. I went to my MKX and grabbed my dial tire pressure gauge. He had used auto start and first thing I did was start to set tire pressures to the door label of 30 psi. Salesman was dumbfounded but while the truck idled I set the pressures....Then the "test drive". He remarked aftwards that this was the first time he rode in a truck that did not ride like a truck. I told him he was loosing Sales for poor ride quality if he did not set tire pressure. I got an email from him that he went out the Walmart and bought a tire pressure gauge... So one salesman out of thousands that got the message.

Rant over...

Best,
