I'll be in Front Royal tomorrow. You can have the matching running boards off my Lariat
if you want to meet me.
That would be awesome, but unfortunately we are tied up. Too bad Front Royal is not closer to Stanardsville. I also have damage to the same running board at the leading edge.

I have had those days, I think a good PDR guy can make that like new

LB
Let's hope so! We just went through similar crap with the wife's Edge. New tranny, persistent issues, front end damage from a defective parking block. She traded it in.

Two incidents today, one totally my fault, the other a stray frisbee golf disc.
Negotiating a tight turn in a parking lot, I hear a nasty loud scrape noise. I swiped a concrete pole base. Luckily the running bar took the brunt of the damage, saving the rear door and fender. A little paint would suffice to make it right.

About an hour and a half later, as I was changing back from my hiking shoes, I hear a loud THUMP. WTF was that? I look over and see the damn frisbee golf disc. Then I discovered it hit the cab just behind the rear passenger door. FUCK! Do you think this is paintless dent repair candidate? I would hate to have to submit this for insurance, and deal without the Ranger for a week or more. The guilty party said they would make it right, but who knows if that will materialize. Or should I suck it up as a mere milage marker and live with it?

Imagine what a pickle ball would do?!?

That's shocking damage, but seeing as acorns dent mine, not surprising. =(

I don't know anything about new magic dent services but have see amazing results (much better than the old days with Bondo!).

Actually, I'm old enough to remember using lead as a filler .....

Good luck and sorry to see that happen you yours. =(

My sister just got hit in Home Depots parking lot and their insurance coverage is great. Someone backed into a handicap sign fast. Tore it out of the blacktop and slammed it on the hood of her car. Then they took off. Home Depot is covering a couple grand of damage and rental.

Dang Bro hopefully they can PDR it for you and it'll be good as new. They say bad things come in 3's so between these two and last weeks you should be good for a while!

Oh, I wouldn't worry to much if the PDR doesn't work. ?

Bummer day James. Hard to believe a frisbee could dent the truck that bad. :crying: Hopefully not too expensive a repair.
There's a frisbee golf disc course around the walking trail at the Rec center and I've watched and talked to several over the last few months. I've never heard of this sport until we moved here but I guess it's pretty big all around the country. Frisbee golf discs are lined with different weights so they can do some damage when the heavier ones hit something.

Looks a like a good candidate for PDR. I had a guy do two bad ones I had in my Soul and they are 99.9% perfect.
