Well yesterday wasn’t a good day, got t-boned by a driver that wasn’t paying attention, he ran off the road reentered and struck me, here’s the Ranger after a very wild ride… He went under the rear tire at 75mph, the Ranger rear ran over the hood and began fish tailing so violently it actually scrubbed the sidewall and dug the wheel lip into the roadway…. How it didn’t roll is God’s work and I guess some pretty good driving. The other driver got 3 criminal citations and lost 9pts off his license.

Already at over $22k in damage and they haven't even taken anything off of the truck.

I hope you are OK, along with any others that may have been in the truck with you.
I'm sore and have a nasty cut and burn on my left arm from the airbags, my dad is hurting but he had back surgery a year ago but x-ray appears everything is okay. Truck definitely took the hit well... The truck shut down upon the airbags deploying and I had to man handle it... This truck was everyway but straight, 3 state police don't know how I kept control and didn't roll it...

The trailer frame is actually bent too, somehow the bike stayed on the trailer.

Wow that’s a scary ride you took, glad everyone’s ok. These Rangers seem to be very well made and have great safety features by all the accidents that have been posted here.

Glad you are both okay. Was the other driver on something / intoxicated or texting? They need to to throw the book at him.

Glad you and yours are OK.

Like Dave said, these trucks appear to hold up pretty well in a crash which is something I find myself thinking about more as drivers seem to be getting more and more distracted.

I saw a lady in an 80's Buick die because the car crumpled in on her like a soda can.

And on a side note, what rims are those on your truck? They look great!

Well, 3 of them do anyway ?

Glad you both are ok . That bike was tied down correctly . I always instructed people to think of it as tying the trailer to the bike and they would do it right .

Here's to all the Ranger owners waiting for it to become a parts donor ....

anticipation.webp

The cops are right. Where that collision happened and with that trailer swinging behind you, that truck should have rolled. Amazing job that you kept that rig upright. Kudos. Glad you’re all ok too.
