2021 2wd xlt just hit 60k two days ago. So far so good. God willing it lasts me much longer.

Oil changes every 10k, changed diff fluid at 57k and I havent touched the transmission fluid yet. It's been on the 87 tune by livernois since 1k and that's the only mod I've done.

2019 XLT FX4 - just went past 65k miles
bought it certified used at 22k miles, previous owner towed long highway miles with it from western ohio to the nashville area.

issues: HVAC box/blend door/whatever, the bucking/surging epidemic solved by the replaced sensor (can't remember the sensors name), peeling paint on the roof rails... oh and the stupid SYNC oddities corrected by a software flash.

otherwise a solid truck. transmission is quirky. sometimes i think it's the smoothest thing i've ever driven. then it'll suddenly make a clunking noise on a shift, but keeps on goin.

i really do like this truck. i think some people unfortunately got some real stinkers from Ford, while most of us got a great product.

FWIW, i run premium 93 fuel through my truck (and target "Top Tier Gasoline" stickered stations where possible). Oil changes every 5k miles.

Nothing but problems. I always have to put fuel in it, change the oil, the damn thing gets dirty and and I have to wash it.
Some would say being on this forum is a problem and will cost you money buying never ending accessories. Right @subquark ? ;)
Hang around here long enough and it will be like browsing WebMD. You start noticing you have all the symptoms of some rare disease and convince yourself you've got it.
Stop reading the forum and go enjoy the Ranger instead of worrying about what might happen. :like:
LOL, you are a zillion percent correct on that!

I have two SwingCases and the floor of my Scab loaded with stuff I'll never use! Of all the stuff in the cases, a set of cheap ratchet straps sees the most action.

Thank God it's really an effort for me to get on the ground or I would have already changed the diff cover, tranny cover and dipstick, and whatever else down there is about to blow up*.

That's the key thing from KJRR, don't worry about things that will likely never happen.

For those that have these issues, they are very real and suck bad. But statistically speaking, just keep on trucking!

Blue Tremor will be one year old in about two weeks. Currently sitting at 17K+ miles. No issues. Love the truck! Ridiculously so. Got to make a road trip in two weeks (@700+ miles RT.) and can't wait to get in some nice windshield time.

After a year I still stop and look at it when I am in the garage. When out and about, still park so it is in view when I can. And continually look for a reason to drive somewhere.

2019 XLT 4X4 model. Daily driver, trip vehicle, minor offroading (dont get to go a lot) and 86k miles so far. No issues, have replaced the trans fluid at 75K, had an issue with HVAC bult just pulled the actuator cover on the passenger side off and put back on and all good. Had just jumped the track. Battery still solid. Knocking on all the wood right now.

I have 56,000 miles on my 2020 Ranger.
No problems.
I occasionally tow about 5k, no issues other than poor mileage.
It’s got the Ford performance tune, Ford/Fox 2.0 leveling kit, AFE intake.
Treat it like a midsize truck, and it’ll be fine.
treat it like a race car or a big-boy truck, expect problems.
