Anyone dealt with this dash rattle noise before?

I notice this insanely annoying rattle that comes and goes. Happens more when cold but it’ll still come on when warm at random times when driving. Once it starts it doesn’t stop. Sounds more like some plastic part is making contact on the windshield glass. Like something is scratching. Pushing all over the dash while driving doesn’t locate it and I can’t replicate the noise without driving. I initially thought it was something going on with the wipers/arms but that wasn’t it. yeah, my truck recently started to make this annoying rattle. Been a little too cold outside for me to want to pick and pull at the interior parts to see if i can figure out where its coming from, very annoying.

My 22 tremor had a rattle like that and I found if I pushed down on the trim on top of the dash where it meets the left lower corner of the windshield the rattle went away. I then wedged a small piece of black Styrofoam between the glass and the dash trim and it has never came back. Its worth a try I hope that helps.

Oh, ok. That sounds like plan to me. Ill have to get some Styrofoam to try that.

Put me down as “sort of but not quite.” 2023 Tremor. 48K miles. Just developed an occasional dash rattle at some point the past two weeks. Not exactly the sound in your video though.

I feel like it is coming from the left side close to the windshield. Which makes me think I need to try the idea posted above by @22RangerTremor.

I have a rattle within my dash that happens only occasionally. It sounds like it's deep in the dash on the center right. I've tried everything I can to locate it to no avail.

I thought I had a dash rattle one time, but it turned out to be my sunglasses in the overhead storage. It's strange how sound travels within the cab.

i wouldnt doubt it, its just kinda annoying to me. LOL

I have an occasional rattle in my 23 tremor 45,000 miles. Started about a month ago. Annoying AF.

It seems like mine is right in the middle but maybe under the dash. No amount of pressing on anything changes the sound. Has anyone seen a video or instructions to remove the top dash?

I fully expected my dash to be full of rattles after they removed it to replace the HVAC distribution box.

So far, pleasantly surprised that it doesn't rattle. Yet.

My 20’ XLT rattled on the top dash piece. If I put pressure on it with my hand it would stop.

I pulled the piece off and put felt tape on the clips and any other place where there was plastic touching plastic and the noise is gone.
