I mostly drive solo in my truck, recently my wife sat passenger and was complaining I had the heat on. The AC was set to 65 but it was blowing out warm air. Had the same issue the following day and ever since. This could have been going on for a long time and I just never realized it.

if I close the two drivers side vents the passenger gets mildly colder but not great.
I have not messed around further with it, as I don’t really have passengers but would like to get this fixed. My thought was maybe something was clogged in the vent restricting the airflow.

if anyone has an insight that would be appreciated, I did a quick search and nothing really came up. I did have a friend with a 21 ranger have his AC pump replaced because
He lost 100% of his AC and it was replaced under warranty. But that isn’t the issue I’m having.

I assume you have dual zone climate control, are both sides set to 65 deg?
There was also a problem with 2019 model have a blend door problem, but I don't know if any 2020 were affected.

I believe the 2020s built through July, 2020 were also affected.

The SSM - Is for the Temperature Doors (Both Driver / Passenger), It was for Individual door clicking / popping sound.

Being that this is unable to cool both sides, I suspect Low on Freon or dirty cabin filter.

Now if same result on heat (unable to properly get heat from vents) then look at Temp / Humidity Sensor, as this sensor is the feedback for cabin temp.

I have a 2021 and my compressor clutch failed. The dealership is in the process of replacing it. There was a squeal and smoke, as the pully was not moving and the belt was smoking on it. It is being replaced under warranty but I am shocked it failed within two years of being new. They won't replace the whole compressor but will replace the clutch. I won't be very happy if the clutch fails again as I believe the compressor is the issue that caused the clutch to fail prematurely.

Sounds fishy.
It sounds like the dealer wants to throw parts at it. Trying the clutch first, then WHEN it doesn't work, replace the compressor, and then whatever else was damaged within the system.

A clutch does one thing, it engages the so that the belt turns the compressor. It either clutches, or it doesn't. Seems like the clutch is doing what it is supposed to do, but the compressor can't turn.
I had something similar happen to me on a Dodge Durango. The clutch would engage, but the compressor would turn for about 30 minutes then lock up. Turns out it was clogged lines, orifices or condenser/evaporator. The whole system needed replacing.

you could buy a cheap HVAC temperature thermometer and test each vent, I leave on just stuck in a vent until I need it LOL
end of Sept now going into Fall season you can test if the heat is different from vent to vent, here in N.Y it was 49F here last night LOL
