Did you have to modify the crash bars? Are you running any spacers?

Stance looks great btw, I might switch to 18" wheels myself it looks so good (plus the lighter weight on the 265/70/18 helps too since i'm trying to maintain drivability).

No mods and didn't touch the crash bars

I'm looking at putting a 275/65/18 on mine in January. Just curious, did any of you guys notice any loss of power/acceleration with the taller tire. Don't want to spend $$$ only to regret it.

I installed the Livernois tune the same day I put the tires on, so I don't know.

I average around 20 mpg now. The tune also let me adjust for tire size to get speedo right.

So, mine is plenty peppy and has plenty of power as it is, but no idea what it's like w/o the tune, sorry.

Edit: I like the higher stance, both on and off road.

Looks great. Thanks for posting. I have the same truck (grey lariat with the black 18s) and am looking at beefier tires. I have the stock 265/60/18s now but will probably be replacing them sometime next year.

How much did your mpg decrease?

Also, with the Eibach kit and those tires, does it have to be level, or could you lower the front and put some rake back in it? I'm planning on getting the Eibachs, but I'd like to keep some rake.
The Eibachs come set for 2 1/2 lift and are adjustable once installed. I have them set as delivered and 1" blocks in rear for a little rake with 265/70/17 for me perfect other than

a 3 mpg loss.

I just did nearly the same exact mod, but added the 1" Bora spacers and need to install the front intrusion bars as there is a bit of crash bar rub on compression full tilt.

I had the same size on my truck when I bought it.I thought it looked great,as yours does, but it just threw my speedo off too much for my liking plus I felt it affected my gas mileage.I switched to 265/65/18s and found them to be the best of all worlds
Agreed, just wanted to fill wheel well in. Gas mileage sure did change
Assuming you adjusted your tire circumference? I'm averaging 20 MPG.

I kinda split the difference... 275/60/18... these are 31" tall; your 275/65/18 will be 32" tall; stock OEM (265/60/18) are 30.5" tall. The 1/2" additional height of mine did not have crash bar issues... not sure if the 32" tires will or not.
