That figures. Would probably do well here in the States too. But then I should be used to this kind of treatment, VW has all kinds of cool cars the States never got.

A friend had a Jeep that was the same. Town was 13 miles away, Big tires, lift etc. didn't improve that number.

The Row Ranger PHEV is not going to be brought to NA. Ford has stated that emphatically.

But, I have not given up on the possibility of a Ranger hybrid like the F-150 Powerboost. A Ranger Powerboost would be great. It is a given that the Bronco is going to be getting a hybrid and it would make sense to deploy the same hybrid system in the Ranger.

The Prius electric-only range is 44 miles, so on par for a truck.

100% agree. If I could get all my PowerBoost stuff in a Ranger I would sell the F150 tomorrow.
