2026 Ford Ranger PHEV – First Look! Hybrid Power, Features, and Game-Changing Tech Revealed!
That figures. Would probably do well here in the States too. But then I should be used to this kind of treatment, VW has all kinds of cool cars the States never got.
The Prius electric-only range is 44 miles, so on par for a truck. It offers up to 26 miles of electric-only range, making it perfect for short trips or low-emission zones.
I don't see the point in this if only 26-mile range on battery. Drive around the block?
100% agree. If I could get all my PowerBoost stuff in a Ranger I would sell the F150 tomorrow. The Row Ranger PHEV is not going to be brought to NA. Ford has stated that emphatically.
But, I have not given up on the possibility of a Ranger hybrid like the F-150 Powerboost. A Ranger Powerboost would be great. It is a given that the Bronco is going to be getting a hybrid and it would make sense to deploy the same hybrid system in the Ranger.
