Is this documented? I think mine was built july 7th 2020. So should i be able to go in now and get it replaced before it does go out…..

It is my understanding the issue isn't repaired as a
request to preemptively avoid the issue...which I believe it should be if you fall within the years/dates listed....but only addressed if your experiencing issues AND is diagnosed as such with pulling of the error codes mentioned...but I guess YMMV on the dealership your working with... unfortunately for most it seems the issue crops up after the bumper to bumper warranty expires and has been lucky for a few with extended or still within factory warranty period.
I can't find where I read earlier though that it's possible if this issue keeps being reported since it's already at a SSM classification it potentially could be on the verge of becoming an actual recall regardless of warranty period as the heating/cooling/defrosting unit not functioning is legitimately a safety issue. I don't have solid info that will be the case however
