2021 XLT Tremor
Almost 4 1/2 years (117,000kms).....battery wasn't showing symptoms of failure on the daily but the dealership where I get service work done always checks on it and came back at 54% capacity...or specifically registering 410 CCA from the original 760CCA
Winter is here and I...
This was my first new vehicle ever purchased!
I miss the 6' box... sometimes you just don't know what you have until it's gone.
A great chance encounter with Duke...caught me at the Mobil/Esso where I get that sweet 93 octane.
Duke's setup is something else very impressive...tasteful and...
Existing warranty was my resolution to this issue
..there was no separate part to replace the latch it was listed as all in one piece for entire replacement of the rear glass window.
Out of warranty ...for me if it happens again...it'll just be probably an is what it is situation...the glass...
Yeah search up some threads here on DPFE sensor replacements. Mine went bad with moisture in it which caused bucking/surging or simulating gear hunting problems... replaced it under warranty when it was diagnosed has been fine for now...though some say it will go bad again.
As this is something I just dealt with yesterday I'm going to pass along some advice. I bought a used ebike hitch rack and when setting the bike up on the rack for the first time and securing it ...well..it didn't quite secure and fell forward toward the bed with the brake handle going through...
A unique and semi frustrating event with my 2021 Ranger Tremor
About 4 weeks ago I had to replace my OEM windshield due to a rock breaking it. Through insurance a local glass installer replaced the windshield with their 3rd party windshield and calibrated the lane keep assist successfully...
Back in 2021 I got a great deal on a trade in going from a '19 XLT SuperCab FX4 with 300A pkg to a '21 XLT SuperCrew Tremor with 301A package.... unfortunate the 301A did not have powered/heated mirrors and seats...my true sore spot of ownership.
Ive thought about aftermarket but a little leary...
From Ford Authority's website.... the current #'s are...
From Ford's Michigan Assembly Plant there has been (128,188)... 2024 Broncos built to date....in comparison there has been (656)... 2024 Rangers built to date.....they are both on the same assembly line platform.....I think that speaks...
I posted my opinion on the Ford Authority website and it was removed from the comment section.
IMO......I honestly believe Ford is probably re-evaluating the future of the Ranger in NA. The Maverick has pretty much cannibalized the reason to sell the Ranger in NA. I'm not at all saying the...
I agree with this....it is definitely goofy.
The app (Android) for me anyways has been. questionable...even after a clearing of cache and storage along with an uninstall and reinstall of the app.
I can only keep my features alive such as remote start by opening the app --> vehicle and then...
I just picked up a used Ford OEM tri fold tonneau and I believe due to being used there is no bulkhead seal provided and after I installed it I do have a fairly large gap at the front box rail.
Anyone have any suggestions as to what may be suitable to use as a replacement similar to what is...
Yeah without the context of the extended warranty couldn't say for sure...however ...if you're past the 36000mi mileage I believe it wouldn't matter...the warranty is 3yr/36000mi when installed in truck as new.
Ah ok,
It's quite possible that is the case....no luck online trying to find a PDF of probably a 1 page manual which I was hoping had that information in it.
It's a pretty large gap...just wasn't sure if I go with pipe pre slit insulation or regular weather stripping seal....I guess my main...
Looking for some suggestions.
I purchased a used Ford OEM soft tri fold (part# is for 5ft box Ranger) but did not come with a manual to confirm fitment procedures.
Installation is as easy as any other soft trifold video on YouTube however.....I'm questioning the sealing of the front header...
This warranty explanation is correct.
If the tune was installed at time truck is purchased (new) any issue that could be attributed potentially to having it installed would be covered for the first 3yrs/36000mi...after that any issue that arises mechanically that the dealership "could" say was...
Canada probably also has some kind of protection act as well, and your right there is a 3yr/36,000mi when installed by a dealer....but once the 3yr/36000mi warranty expires the remaining powertrain warranty is not guaranteed to cover any issue that could be blamed on having the tune...
I'm hungry for the Ford Tune as well....but I've got an extended warranty on the truck in play for awhile and if something goes south I'm just uneasy that any warranty work powertrain wise "could" be denied due to having the tune.
Ford Performance was kind enough to send me an email with their...
