You can do it. Tell the service personnel that you are so happy with their service that you want a photo to post on this forum and then take a photo of her first then leave.

I think their labor is $135-$150/hr. I guess if the tech was getting after it, it could be done for that price. ....+7% sales tax.

I stopped by dealer yesterday to swap Ford semi-syn oil for their full syn engine oil.
I stopped at the service desk to talk to the manager about a flush for my 10R80. He was busy, but his assistant is hot, hot. So I asked her. Some lower price for a dump, filter, refill. $189 for a flush + filter. Blink, blink. I asked her for the price using their flush machine. $189.

They say if it is to good to be true, it probably isn't.
Thoughts please.

It'd be way cheaper if Ford had put a drainhole in the pan.

I've heard about an aftermarket metal pan with drain hole/plug on this forum. I'm considering getting one for the shop to swap out....if I can find that post.

I installed the deep PPE pan with drain hole. Super happy with it.

I've found two sources for this. One is a few bucks more for their 'deep' version which is good for me with the extra fluid capacity. ...good for cooling, etc.
Question if it will clear the skid plate/cross members and match up with the pump intake.
...any thoughts?

No need for the extra capacity. Stick with the standard depth and you will be fine. The cooling fins will be more than enough to help with cooling. Also having the drain plug makes it real easy to service the transmission

Service center at the dealership I got my truck from… said $350.00 for a fluid exchange (no filter change) ? they call that a transmission service… well it is “A” service, but not exactly what would call a “Transmission Service”…
Being a sarcastic fellow at times..
I said so when you change the oil on a vehicle do you not change the filter?
The lady (she was polite I admit.) replied oh sir actually on these newer vehicles the transmission doesn’t have a filter. ?
I just said I’m pretty sure it does but ok thank you for your time…
Got a call back and a fluid, filter, pan, and gasket.. Will hit me for $650.00
