110V Outlet Not Powering Device

Bought one of these air purifiers for the Ranger, but with the truck on and it plugged in to the 110V outlet it will not power on. Is there any reason this should not work? Checked the fuse and it looked fine. The yellow light next to the outlet is on, so I assume the outlet is working fine.

How many watts does it draw. Have you tried anything else in the truck to be sure the outlet is live.

Did you get a spec sheet with the product? How much power does it require? The 110v outlet in the Ranger is very limited.

Could be bad. Mine was so loose nothing would charge or stay plugged in. Dealer replaced it in 2 minutes while I sat in the truck.

Something like a night light should show if it's working.

It’s limited to 150 watts…

Cell phone recognized the charger immediately, so the outlet is working.

Found the documentation for power draw. 3.5W, so I am not sure why it isn't working.

That inverter is modified sine wave. (vs pure sine wave) Things with motors will be hit or miss.

i wonder if the air purifier has a short some place or a problem with its plug.
