Finished the suspension this morning. Bds 1' shackles in the back to gain some travel. That paired with the 5100s and 6112s in the front it's riding good. Sits way better too. Can't wait to get it on some trails and fire roads to see how it handles.

Getting everything back on my new ranger raptor. Put letters on. Got tonneau cover installed. Installed swing case. Have a deflector on the way. Used my ford pass points on the deflector.

Now at 140k Last weekend I changed the fluid in both diffs, dropped the trans pan replaced the filter and refilled, oil change air filter cabin, wipers and rotate. Other things I did this week were I took an ARB air compressor off a trade in truck and turned it into a portable unit for about $30 in parts from harbor freight, and I installed a midland mtx575 also from a trade in, cost me $35 for a new antenna cable.

Friday, got the driver and passenger windows tinted. No darkness, just max UV block. Love it! Huge difference. Not sure why it took me so long to get around to it.

Yesterday, transmission fluid. Did it myself. 6qt out, 6qt including 10 oz Lubeguard Plt back in. Amazing difference in trans operation. Truly. Highly recommend it to all.

Today, lube driveshaft slip joint. Maybe. Still trying to work up the nerve. See too much potentially going wrong.

Update: Lubed the slip joint. So glad I did. Zero bumps and jerks now.

Cleaned out the bed and organized/stowed my offroad gear. Straps and rope are in the swing case. Tested out my inflater, aired down to 15psi and timed it reinflating to 32, took 60 seconds

Looks great! I love the "blackout look" and went the same route. Although my windows are at 15% and totally illegal.

Already got in trouble once for it with a fix it ticket on a different vehicle That was a different state though. Probably could get away with it here in texas but I prefer not to worry about it.

Yeah Arizona dealers love their ADMs! The dealer in Spokane where I bought my '23 had none which was a nice change.

Here's the sticker off my '19 and I had to laugh at the salesman when I saw "Peoria performance package". lol I told him there's no way I was paying that and he could either take it all off or I'll find another somewhere else. We negotiated it down to $500 but the nitrogen did add 5 hp.

5 HP for that price? A tuner is a good bang for the buck! When we got our 2014 Jeep Wrangler a few years ago, they tried to hit us with a $1000 cleaning fee. The wife and I stood up and said "Let's go, we're not paying for that". They eventually took it off. First vehicle we got only doing that once. Crazy, the stuff they invent to add to the price.

They tried doing something like that here when I got the mustang last year. Called texas protection plan. We got it down to 3 hundred. It had a lojack and unlimited carwashes for a year. Tried to sell it for 2k.

The dealer i went to for my Raptor had no hidden stuff. Which is why I liked them.

5 HP for that price? A tuner is a good bang for the buck! When we got our 2014 Jeep Wrangler a few years ago, they tried to hit us with a $1000 cleaning fee. The wife and I stood up and said "Let's go, we're not paying for that". They eventually took it off. First vehicle we got only doing that once. Crazy, the stuff they invent to add to the price.

They tried some add-on shenanigans with my Passat after I had a signed deal and arrived to pick it up with a bank draft for the amount owed.

When I bought my Ranger, I found it online and it was just what I wanted. I told the sales guy that if I was going to drive the 70 miles to the dealership to see the truck, I was going to buy it that day so I wanted no dealer installed extras, no nitrogen, no window etching, no locking lug nuts, nothing, no BS. He said no problem, it just came off the vehicle hauler, I’ll see you soon.

He was true to his word, didn’t try to sell me anything extra, and I picked it up a couple of days later after it was prepped for delivery. I’d certainly buy from that guy again.
