got some new shoes. The LT hancooks were finally done. 4 years and 43k miles. They had a bit more life but I got a good closeout on these tires. even ordered a 5th for a full size spare.

#pizza cutters. 255/75/17 on stock sport wheels. 5100s all around. 1.8 inch setting in the front and 1 inch in the rear. had to get white letters. These are SL load rating.

Installed my recently purchased, el cheapo, “missing” centre bed tie downs…..

Then, I closed the access cover of my drop-in bedliner…..

Only for them to never be used, ever.

But I know they’re in there and that’s what really matters.

Nah, you gotta have a bungie stretched across from one cheap tie down to the other since you put them there. On washboard roads it will sound like a Spanish guitar solo in the bed of the truck!! 😏

Thanks for pinch-hitting Phil.

I was out in the driveway with the detail spray and microfibre towels - I just might be obsessed with my Ranger. 😀

So, yeah, I guess that’s another thing I did to my Ranger today. It wasn’t quite a spa day but it got a bath and a good scrubbing behind the ears. Busted out the 303 Graphene Detail Spray, the 303 Protectant, and my favourite tire dressing, Aero Cosmetics Rubber Care.

I enjoy kidding around about 303 but I use the products and think they’re great.

There you have it folks right from the horses mouth! I told you that 404 was snake oil and now he even admits it.

I even added the quote to the first line in my Signature for everyone to see! 😆

Got my bilstein 6112s in today and wow.

Removing and installing the shocks was easy. Getting the struts assembled was a different story.

Next time I'll just pay someone for that part. The spring compressors I "loaned" from autozone worked, but kept contacting the body of the shock. I had a towel in there the whole time and still managed to scratch it in a few places. The springs got some marks too but Oh well.

Nothing earth shattering but I charged my jumper pack I keep under the rear seat. I have a notification set on my phone to charge it every 6 months and for some reason it never went off and I forgot all about it. 🤦‍♂️

The last time I remember charging it was when we were living in Goodyear which was 2 years ago. I was surprised to see it was still at 98% so just an FYI to others who have them, go charge it. lol

I installed my bedlights, finally. I ordered them in 2023...

In the first picture, you can see they were too long. I cut them down and wired them up. I also trimmed out almost 6 foot of wire. It's not perfect but it will do. Now we will have light in the topper when we camp.
