Got the JXB driveshaft center support in the mail yesterday and got it installed today. The install was very straight forward with no surprises. The most time consuming part was cutting the old one off. Took maybe 45 minutes total.

This is what the stock bearing looks like with the old carrier cut away. The bearing still felt pretty good at 95k miles.

I currently have the "track" bushings installed but I also have the street ones to try. Time will tell but the first drive was good and got rid of a few annoying habits the truck had with the stock carrier.

Nice! Mine came this week too. I went with the complete bearing and the street bushing. Will have to wait until May 8th when my friend’s lift is available. Will be greasing the slip yoke also. Looks to be a really good quality product.

I did mine yesterday too. Was going to post a thread today but you beat me. I went with street bushings just to make sure it wasn’t too rough. There is a vibration between 42-45mph. I sent them a message. They have other bushings available with more dampening available, I seen it on some charger forums Jay sends them out.

The slow down clunk is gone. Putting it in drive is silky smooth and not a strange lurch. Gear changes feel more solid and less sloppy. The whole truck feels tighter honestly. The play of the stock bushing was outrageous to be honest.

I noticed a vibration around the same speed, didn't seem too bad but I'll monitor and probably try the street bushings if it bugs me.

Everything you mentioned are things I've noticed as well, mine was also pretty blown out.

Mine oem wasnt dry rotted or cracked just soft as hell. The bushings might soften over time and the vibration might go away too. I tested it up to 80mph just fine. I cruise at 72 either way. Next some more poly bushings throughout the truck.

What’s the difference between the track and street bushings? First time I’ve seen this product.

Track is a harder bushing and more likely to cause vibrations, street is softer and less likely.

I'm gonna run the track bushings for a bit more and see if they wear in at all. I've noticed my vibration at 45 went away but at 58-60 its pretty noticeable then goes away over 63.

They are sending me a bushing that better absorbs vibrations, and some options for mount clamp adjustment. Ill post results. Here are some pictures of the install too.

Anxious to see results before I install mine. I did go with their complete setup, bearing and all. But I’m not sure if that makes a difference or not.

I changed to the "street" bushings and went for some drives today. Noticed much less vibration but not completely gone. The track bushings definitely caused a lot of vibration and it was getting annoying. I could definitely live with the street bushings but I'm curious to see your results. I'm also a bit curious about installing some spacers to get the axle more in line and see what difference that makes.

Interesting updates. I wonder if the angle of the driveshaft makes a bigger difference with the tighter tolerances of the rubber isolator.
