I love this truck. I love how it drives. I love how it looks. But the rattles and vibrations in the cabin are making me crazy. Maybe it's just me and these noises don't bother others. It just seems like a lot of noise for a brand new truck. Of course now I drive with no music trying to listen, which adds to my obsession. Am I the only one? I assume it will only get worse as the truck ages. Don't know if I can deal with this for the next 7 years. But damn she looks and drives nice!

I’m pretty picky and I don’t have any of that. One of the quietest vehicles I’ve owned.

My dash started vibrating in the first few hundred miles. I also have a buzzing under mild acceleration that sounds like it's from the engine bay area. I think I'm going to throw an exhaust on it and pretend they don't exist lol. My Tacoma 4 cylinders sounded like someone threw a handful of bolts inside the engine when they were cold and they were rock solid reliable. Hope for the best I guess?

Have you checked to see if all of your panels are press in all the way? I found one panel not pressed in to the point of the clips engagement but I did pick the truck up without the dealership doing their inspection. If you have issues take it to the dealer so you don't have to deal with it. Its new so demand it be correct.

Buzzing is the HPFP, mine quieted down around 9k.

It’s the high pressure fuel pump located right behind And below the center of the dash on top of the engine. It’s a cam driven pump supplying 3600psi of fuel to the direct injectors. They wear in and quiet down.

I thought it was possibly an electrical relay activating something for fuel delivery.
It's very faint sounding but still for me it is detectable/noticeable with the windows shut + no radio otherwise it's not.

Nope, no relay would be chattering like that in the dash. It’s the HPFP. Take the foam insulation off the pump and I bet you will hear it more pronounced.

Quiet and no rattles( except passenger seat belt if not placed flat) I took the coin thing out of the center counsel also ! No wind noise either
Funny. I have to straighten the seat belt out every time my wife gets out of the truck.

Lol... just be glad it does not rattle, creak and groan like the mid-seventies Mercury Monarchs I used to work on. It wasn't uncommon to get multiple 1863 (warranty) repair orders listing dozens of noises in that car. Bobcat's, Montego's and Cougars were slightly better, while Grand Marquis's and Lincoln's were virtually silent.
Eighty percent of these sounds from the Monarch's came from the dash/cowl areas.

Let's not forget the Comets, they were much better than Monarch's

Same here with the passenger seat belt.

Over time my vehicles tend to accumulate stuff ... phone chargers, cords, coins, flashlights, random tools etc and you'd be surprised how noisy all that crap gets rattling around in the bins and such. So the first thing I do when I think I've got a rattle is completely clear everything out, usually it's quiet once again at that point.
