My experience with the dealer has been excellent. Hoping the new boot doesn't tear again.

Update. Dealer told me they ordered the wrong part and the boot is still on backorder. He thinks their is a problem with the part. I told him it's not just my truck. Anyone else get feed back from the dealer yet?

My driver’s side door speaker was just replaced. Sounded blown. They found a tear. I now have two tears in the pleathet boot covering the E brake. It’s on back order. I’ve had a bunch of little issues so far. Been at the dealer a bunch. My patience is wearing thin.

I have Ford working on it right now. They tried to fix it the first time with no success, now they say one of the techs dealt with it on another ranger and has a solution. We will see. Oh yea they are also replacing a blown speaker! Hoping I have no more issues.

Sure thing. Does the bezel just pop up or do you hold it up with enough tension to slip the back rod below the dash?

WOW! No it's a flaw in the design. I'll try the backer rods too, hopefully I don't break the bezel!!

I experience the same issue. Only on a cold start. Hesitation/jumpy going from 3rd to 4th. Smooth shifting all other times. Brought it to the dealer and they said there is nothing wrong.

Please let us know what the dealer says and does.
