I understand the newer ones have the bugs worked out but my ass will never sit in another one after the crap I went through on that 95. Don’t let my hatred for the brand turn you off them, You gotta buy whatever makes you feel good.The old ranger took me to look at some Toyotas today (not a Tacoma so i think im good). That being said I did sit in one and it seemed pretty comfy
My lady friends brother in law had a Tacoma that had the rotten frame issue. They took it back, stripped it down and put all his running gear and body on a brand new frame which I thought was awesomely cool, but not enough to EVER make me buy one again.
On the other hand, my Ranger just turned 150,000 miles with the drive shaft center bearing being the one and only issue in that mileage. So I have no reason to complain at all.
