Agree with Farley but percentages don't mean much. Adding percentages to anything is irrelevant unless you know the real numbers because percentages can make anything look good.

Which would you rather see?

54% increase of 19,000 units
or
54% increase of 250,000 units

Any increase is good but the bottom line numbers aren't stellar.

Is there not an aftermarket module available to disable ASS?
There might be, but its nothing my finger cant do as i get in the truck. And i have to push a button or turn a big knob to get it into sport mode. And i dont have to pay money so even better.

Does the $2 night light plugged into the 120v outlet work like it does in the 5G?

Anyone who would brave some of those cold days at Lambeau are a special kind of crazy! lol

They are probably one of the most loyal fan base in the NFL or any major sport for that matter. They travel in packs all across the country and have been doing it for years. I still have my Cardinals season tickets but sell the whole season now to a friend. But when the Pack come to town I sell those two tickets for just about what I pay for the whole season.
When I was thinking of buying a Tacoma, I joined Tacoma World to get some first hand experience.

I was totally unprepared for the type of experience I would get.

I have never encountered a site with more White Knights.

If ANYONE mentioned a problem or issue, it was immediately swooped on by users claiming it was obviously the driver's fault.

The issue that sticks in my head from there was when a user had their rear axle lock up on the highway while driving home.

The White Knights rallied from their keep and called him liar, troll, and every other name in the book.

They demanded pics and GPS coordinates of where it happened, a Police report, an oath in blood, you name it.

The user got ticked and left.

Not 3 weeks later, Toyota issued a recall for the rear axles on the Off Road trim Tacomas because they could leak to the point that they could, gasp, lock up while driving.

It warmed a bit of my soul when a TON of the White Knights inspected their trucks only to find the leaking rear axle.

But hey, Tacomas are without fault.

Oh wait, 2024 rear axle...

That was intentionally designed in to provide a constant patina of fluid to act as a barrier to prevent rusting, much like how you season an iron skillet.

That's the problem in medicine today: 50% of all doctors graduated in the bottom half of their class.

That's not too surprising when you see these stats. The educational system is failing us here and sadly it's shows every day when dealing with people. :explode:

I'm happy with my high mileage 22 XLT SPORT 4X4. Gonna drive it until the wheels fall off of it. LOL
I agree and same here. Getting ready to slide into 149,000 miles on my 2021 XLT SPORT and other than a new drive shaft a week ago, it has been absolutely trouble free and has given me no reason to replace it.

No, I was going by this link where it said Ford only sold 48,278 Rangers. These are through November of 2025

From the link:
https://carfigures.com/us-market-brand/ford/ranger

How many Ranger did Ford sell in 2025?
Ford sold 48,278 Ranger in 2025. (From Jan - Nov 2025)

But even so it's still a 4-1 difference which is still far behind Tacoma sales. Point being that's the reason you were seeing so many more Tacos for sale than Rangers. That and Tacomas are garbage! :puke:
😁. I think you know my story on Tacomas. 😁

Everyone here knows mine too. lol

It's too bad because the 2nd Gen had a really nice drivetrain but they still had some of the rusted frame problems in the earlier years of this generation. Overall it was a good truck and when I was looking for one (8/2015) they had already started to change to the 3rd Gen. I couldn't find anything except a couple base models which didn't interest me. It's to bad manufacturers deviate from what once made them so great and stand out above their competitors.

Profit over quality.

Former '21 SuperCab Owner
The folding headrests from the 5G SuperCab fit the 6G fine. I added a set to my Velocity Blue 6G.

Hi all,

I bought a brand new 2021 Ranger and now a brand new 2025 Ranger, both velocity blue.

It's really neat owning two generations of the same truck and wanted to share some thoughts with everyone here.

In my case, the 2021 was actually rock solid over my ownership duration. I want to remark on some differences:

What I preferred in my 2021:
- I had a base trim STX, it was basic but functional, very good tactile controls for all features inside
- Steel front bumper
- Higher trims got more painted panels including the whole bed, rear bumper, etc.
- Folding rear headrests
- Paint quality is better than my 2025!

What I prefer in the 2025:
- I got a Lariat this time, so the features and appointments are nicer, especially the interior
- All the technology such as self driving, fancy headlights, etc.
- The ride is better, not necessarily quieter, most of it is wind noise at highway speeds
- The new 2.3L MPC is such a mighty beast. The old 2.3L was sluggish to respond, sometimes clunky when changing gears.

What are your thoughts?

Would seemingly be a rash decision to axe the Ranger imo. Ford really has a nice build with the 6th gen. It’s regularly recognized is one of the most reliable trucks. It only needs some minor tweaks to set it apart.

It takes years to build up a reputation of reliability. Giving up on a platform that gives you that seems so wasteful.

it’s a not 0% chance they axe it, but I really do think it’d be a dumb move.
One of those tweaks should be the Ranger5G Signature Chain! =p
